Black friday buddies 2010 unite! BACK FROM THE TRENCHES POST YOUR WAR STORIES!

Im considering the Samsung steam dryer/washer thats currently on pre-BF sale at Best Buy. Does anyone have any personal knowledge of these machines? We're really concerned with repairs in the first few years.

I am also in the market for wifi bluray players, and have been following the ads closely. Checking the reviews for all the ones offered, things seem pretty dismal. The vizio, insignia and samsung I looked at all had review trends for cheap materials, connectivity issues, and frequent returns/repairs.

I ended up getting an LG thats on sale on Amazon. We really wanted to be able to stream netflix, and Im totally jazzed - it wasn't at the deep BF price, but was still a worthy sale.

I also wanted to ad that we will never buy from HP again. I bought a desktop a few years ago that had a couple obvious defects right out of the box. I was on the phone for THREE DAYS with customer service without resolution. I finally got so frustrated that I just returned the entire thing and bought a Dell. We've been Dell fans ever since.

I have to say, Ive been really impressed with the pre-BF sales this year! I'm already 2/3 done with my shopping, and expect that most of whats left will be finished at Old Navy.

Looking at getting an LED, no 3D. Have narrowed it down to the Vizio or the Sony Bravia. Consumer reports give the Bravia top rating but it costs more. It give the Vizio it's best buy rating. The vizio is at Costco for like 1690. Do you think I'll find a better deal BF or later? I've mostly seen deals on the smaller tv sizes

I know most places are a complete madhouse, but I went to AC Moore one year it it really wasn't. I scored some fantastic deals on THomas toys that year. I see Michaels has their holiday greenery for 50% off and an early bird extra 30% off coupon, making the deal so attractive.

I am thinking of two prelit entry way trees and some wreaths for the doors. Is this the best I will likely find? Is it worth it for the extra 30% or will going there early just make my head spin?

For the record I have had an HP laptop for well over 4 years and it is still reliable and everything still works fine :) So I would buy from them again.

In other news the Bj's Ad is out, I don't know if they are country wide or not but heres the ad

They have some deals on Blu-ray WiFi ready players, I know some people were looking for those, you can try and get them from them online.

Sitting here waiting as patiently as I can... popcorn:::surfweb:

Bring on BLACK FRIDAY! :cool1:

I'm sitting here typing on my Dell laptop, and I HATE it. Bought it last fall, and have had nothing but trouble. dd11's 3 yr old Compaq from a Sat sale at Walmart is much more reliable. ds13 has my old desktop, but if I can snag a good deal next week he'll be getting this Dell:)

Walmarts Add looks pretty good! I cant believe it leaked! I saved it tomy computer incase they take it down!

AWESOME! I saved the pdf file. As usual they don't disappoint. They are selling a Tech Deck ramp with 8 boards for $19! That's much better than the half pipe at TRU. I love that everything I want will start at 12am so I am going to be shopping online. I won't even have to get up early and can sleep in. I also like that 40pc storage set for my mil. The only other thing I'll get is a few movies. We don't really need much this year esp no big ticket items so that makes it much easier.

I don't think there are any absolutes where this is concerned.
Without a doubt. We've had about a half dozen HPs at work, and while they have had problems at a higher rate than Dell and Toshiba, there are some HPs that have worked perfectly.

does anyone see a wii in the WM ad? someone else said it was there, but i've looked through the ad twice and don't see it.

NVM, i found it, lol.

Did they pull it? I can't find it. Was there any deals on the Nook and if there were are they in store only or can they be ordered online? Thanks

I looked through several times-didn't see a Wii.

Since so many of you seem to know a lot about laptops, I have a question about the 2 HP computers in the wm ad. The $298 one is 2 GB, the $398 is 3 GB. I couldn't read much more info. If I use the laptop for school, surfing, disboards:rotfl:, and uploading pictures of my kids, will the 3gb be that much better for me????? I couldn't read much info on the $198 one, but I had an emachines before and wasn't really impressed.

I have a question?

WM starts at midnight and the other sales start at 5 AM. Does anyone know how they work this? I am wondering do they open at midnight and you get in line for what you want or are there tickets? I missed WM completely last year.

There are things I could pick up from the midnight sale and just wait till the 5 AM sale but would love to have some type of game plan of how they do it.

The electronics aren't available on line are they?

So I guess I had a few questions:rolleyes1
