Black friday buddies 2010 unite! BACK FROM THE TRENCHES POST YOUR WAR STORIES!

For the 32" that's not a big deal (regardless of what room the television will be used in). If you can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 32", then you're sitting too close to the television. :)

40" is just below the borderline between "it doesn't matter" and "it matters". 42" is generally the smallest size where regular folks should star worrying about 720p versus 1080p.

You are right...Only reason I would prefer the Target version is its larger and since its 1080p(More expensive) it is a larger savings then what Walmart is providing.

I'm really not overly impressed this year. Maybe it's b/c I don't need a TV or video game console. :confused3 I'm waiting to see what WM has up their sleeve. I have a feeling I'll be shopping online at Amazon for most of my stuff.

Now I did like the CVS ad. I'm not overly impressed with their Free stuff but there are a few goodies. They do have a good price on the Sonicare toothbrush for $40 and hubby wants one. I'm hoping the Spongebob snuggie is included in the sale price I saw. My ds wants one. I'm also going to get the hairdryer for myself and a couple of gift items. I got a $25 CVS gc to use so I'll spend very little out of pocket.

I do want an armoire which Target has a good price on it. I'm hoping WM will offer a similar priced one. I want to get those Itune GC's from Target but I wait to go there for just one item. TRU has a few good deals like their wrestlers and a tech deck half pipe. Of course I'll get a few movies and I'm so sad I missed out on the Wii Toy Story Mania game for $20 at Amazon. We rode that ride at WDW several times. I would love to get the game.

Thanks to those who sent the slickdeals link for me. Sorry, I wasn't able to do much more than a quick post about it.

I just solved my Itunes gc problem. CVS this Sunday will offer a $5 ECB when you buy a $25 one for a limit of 2 cards! I only needed 2 for each niece. They both have Iphones and love those gc's. I can use those ECB's for the Thanksgiving sale. My oop cost just got even lower plus I don't have to go all over town trying to get so many deals. I can stay in the day after and just shop from my computer. I love doing that! I will go into town later that morning and have breakfast with ds. It's usually more picked over, but I can still find some great deals on movies and video games that way. They usually have tons of them left the rest of the weekend. It's not a huge frenzy by 9am.

I must have missed the two minute WM ad posting :( Im watching hoping it shows up again.
theres a S*ms club ad up but thats it.

I had to LOl at the person posting on the slickdeals forum that hes going to :
this year I plan to bring some speakers and play the Mortal Kombat theme 5 minutes before the doors open.

LOL I could totally see something like that happening.

Looking for a deal on a Wii. My niece's Wii is having problems. She says it will play a while and then says disk error or something like that. I am thinking we should just get a new one, since the price to send it to Nintendo to fix it will be about the same. However, I do not need the stuff included in the bundles. Anyone see any good deals on just a Wii or a Wii with minimal accessories?

I am thinking the same thing. In fact, I already have about a dozen things in my cart that I am tracking for price decreases. I'm so disappointed that the sales so far this year aren't really all that good...I may just get to sleep a little more this year on BF after all.

Does anyone know if Amazon matches GC deals? Toys R Us and Target are doing a $50 GC with an Xbox is there a chance Amazon will do the same?
