Does anyone know if Amazon matches GC deals? Toys R Us and Target are doing a $50 GC with an Xbox is there a chance Amazon will do the same?
Looking for a deal on a Wii. My niece's Wii is having problems. She says it will play a while and then says disk error or something like that. I am thinking we should just get a new one, since the price to send it to Nintendo to fix it will be about the same. However, I do not need the stuff included in the bundles. Anyone see any good deals on just a Wii or a Wii with minimal accessories?

When you contact Nintendo for repairs, you don't have to have to pay postage. They will send you an e-mail with prepaid postage you just attach to the package you are sending the wii back in.
I'm not sure if this is a good price but I saw Kmart advertising an X-Box with the Kinnect thing and maybe a game for $299. Its listed on the website right now as well.
Am I reading this right? You sold a broken Wii on eBay for nearly $100? Who the heck would buy a broken Wii? ETA: I see you listed it as broken. I guess people will buy anything on eBay! I wouldn't even think about listing a broken Wii.Our Wii was having similar problems, so we just bought a used one at Gamestop because they didn't have a new one in stock. We then sold our old Wii on Ebay, listing it as broken and listed the problem. It sold for close to 100.xx!

I edited my first post after reading your post more closely. Wow. People will buy anything! Good jobYep, you read that right. I'm guessing it was someone who knew how to fix it and either got a cheap Wii or was able to resell it...I didn't think someone would pay that much and was hoping to get $50 at the most...

And it probably won't until the last minute (which should be about this time, next week).
Both Walmart and Home Depot were "proactive" and put their legal counsel (corporate attorneys) to work on advance cease-and-desist notices to the major BF website operators.
But, we should still have plenty of advance notice since Walmart corporate already said their BF ad will be made public a week in advance (and based on the free shipping thing at walmart.com , I expect their ad to be one of the "crown jewels" of the shopping season).
Best Buy is out!!!

Looks like some good deals on video games and movies. Was hoping for better deals on TVs.
