You're gonna love it! I got mine at ACM on Black Friday with a whole bundle of extra stuff about 2-3 years ago. I sold off the cartridges I didn't want on ebay and got $30 each for them.

I haven't done a BF in years. But reading this thread has me super excited and has given me somewhat of a plan. And thanks to this, I have recently signed up for the BF websites to send me their updates.

I'm looking for a 42" LCD TV (Best Buy last year offered their Insignia for $699 (which on their website shows that as their current price and is on sale right now for $629.99)..so I don't know if I should snatch it up now or wait to see if it goes on sale further and risk being trampled on? Also on the list is a iPod/radio/am/fm clock dock for the bedroom.

I'm also looking for DVD's for my DD, specifically Toy Story (the first one) since my DD is only 3.5 she has never seen it. I will be showing her this movie on the plane down to WDW the following week and where she will get the Woody Barbie Doll for Christmas. Also looking for some deals on board games, also for DD.

I just heard of this new game for xbox and ps3. My ds has ps3-it is called "power gig rise of the 6 string band"
It is only coming out mid oct-I am wondering if I should pre order it now or wait to see if it goes on sale somewhere. Probably not right??
Does anyone have any info on this?

this probably wont go on sale anytime soon, but i doubt the game will do we coming out inbetween guitar hero: Warriors of Rock and Rock Band 3. those games already have followings, and a ton of downloadable content.
honestly i would wait on that one, you might be able to find it really cheap shortly.

I am so hoping for a great deal on a PS3 this year. That is what DS11 wants, and he knows that will be the only thing he is getting. He is SUPER excited!

i doubt the PS3 will go down in price at all, for a while at least..
sometimes stores will offer a gift card if you buy one, or sometimes they will be bundled with games, but the price will probably stay the same, and if you do plan on getting one, make sure you get it early, stores cant keep up with the demand closer towards christmas.

I actually purchased mine new on Ebay for less than that, but it was over a year ago. The person that was selling it was a retailer and they were offering it without the 2 cartridges that came with it - which was fine for me because after I read up on them they didn't seem like anything I'd use anyways...

Well, I am officially off the "Black Friday" bandwagon this year! I was on the hunt for the Wii for my DD8.....but just picked one up on Amazon for $174.99 with no tax or shipping. I also bought 2 games and another Wii motion controller at TRU with their B2G1 sale. Now all I need are a couple more accesories and I am through Christmas shopping for the kids! Woohoo!!

I absolutely love Black Friday Shopping!!! My family and I are always out the door at 4AM. The last couple of years I have been under the weather and not been up to shopping much. I'm hoping that things go much better for me this year!! LOL!
