Great Idea Brenda - I think it's a great call to everyone who has fallen off and needs some new direction to get back on track. You CAN do this!

Owning that number is the ONLY thing that gets me back on track. For some reason I can't do it if I don't.

Brenda- You'd be surprised about doing Marathons. I've recently committed to doing another 1/2 marathon (I've done 2 so far - WISH walkers 2005 at WDW and one in Ocean City Maryland -again in 2005). I am planning on doing the 1/2 marathon in Disney again in 2010. It was one of the best things I ever did for myself. Talk about a sense of accomplishment and when I was done I felt like I could do anything!

My next race is a 10 k in Charlottetown, PEI next Sunday, October 19th.

The half is on November 28th in Florida (Spacecoast).

Hang in there, you can do this - I know you can. Just worry about today, not tomorrow and certainly not yesterday. You are just amazing, you can do what you set out to do for sure.

I agree with Melanie C - I put myself on the start line at the Disney half in 2006 at nearly 350 lbs! I got swept for not being fast enough but have completed five 5ks, a five miler and a 10k since then, along with some smaller "fun runs". Believe me, distance walking is possible, even for big girls.

Don't be afraid to try it, or anything. Look at Vija with her martial arts - man, that is what blows my mind!

And Melanie C - I am planning the 2010 Disney half too.

Vija - I have never been to the Christmas party before and am looking forward to it. This is our first Christmas visit and we are doing lots of things like the Candlelight processional, etc.

My least favourite exercise? Stair climbing.

I have a real problem with that.

I did the Real Age test - and came out .1 older than my age.

Because I did not do enough stretching and did not know the exact figures for my cholesteral. I have had it done several times, and it has always been low, but I did not ask the figures.

I liked the Real Age test I did for Facebook instead - that put me ten years younger!

Have a "magical losing day" people.

Hello Blue! Wow you runners are very inspiring. I've been trying to work up to 5 miles, so far I'm at 2 1/2. When I got home last night I did my ususal route, but had to mix it up with run/walk. I know I was tired from being at work 10 hours yesterday so I didn't do my best. I love Saturday morning runs, I seem to have the most energy and go my longest. Keep us informed on what you are doing - and how you do it. I would love to learn.

4th day of Jillian's 'I hate you' DVD. It's not as painful today...

WW points going well all week. Mostly typing with one hand due to computer.

That' COW is one big COW! I need to add up my points from this last COW...

Least fave exercise is running. I wish I could do it but I just seem to stink at it.

Sorry this is so odd. I'm hoping that I've got a good computer week soon.:rotfl:

OK blue, I wore my blue exercise shirt tonight when I did my 45 minutes on the treadmill. I'm all hot and sweaty and dh lit a fire.:rolleyes:

Another easy one - nothing. Yes I am hopeless. I love music. Someday when there is less of me to jiggle around I think I will enjoy jumping around to music. That's an exercise isn't it?

Hey Blue thanks for being there for me today. I wanted cheese on my scrambled eggs for breakfast but that was not part of the menu so I passed on that. All because I promised you that I would be 100% OP today.

It is also time to eat and I have survived the dreaded mid afternoon munchies. Off to a healthy snack. YIPEE!! I can do this.

Menu for today...

1TBSP EVCO (extra virgin Coconut Oil)
2 cups of coffee
BF-1 Cup full fat Plain yogurt mixed with Davinchis Sugar free syurp
Lunch- 2 bunless burgers lettuce, tom, mayo, pickle and a side salad with ranch
Dinner- Loaded omelete- cheese, mushrooms, onions, sausage, and a side of bacon! YUMMMMMM
 
Did the real age test and it says I am 3 years younger. :confused3 Of course I didn't know the exact numbers for some of the questions so I estimated.
 
Well Vija, I would say that she is just misunderstood and needs to get a life and make some new friends.

I mean - to cause all that trouble just because she did not get invited to a darn baby shower? Please!

I am sorry that you are having a hard time with your training schedule. Hang in there. I know you can do it, just be careful of the injury potential.:hug:
 
WOW, lots of posts to read through, haven't been on in a couple of days I don't think.

First, WTG Blue Team and Dianatol...even with a few bumps in the road, we are hanging in there.

My WI this week wasn't as good as I would have hoped, down .5 lb but time of the month hit yesterday so that is probably part of it. We did go walking at the park again yesterday afternoon and that was great. We are heading to the NC mountains tomorrow so maybe some hiking will help with WI next week. I'm making sure to take my water bottle and will be keeping it filled, also have some veggies cut up ready to go so that I'm not tempted by other snacks.

Walking would have to be my favorite if I have to name one.

Squats...just don't like them at all.

Since we are leaving tomorrow, I went ahead and send my PM to our COW official - I had a total of 80 points earned this week. If I'm not on before, I'll be back on the boards Sunday evening once we are back.

Hey everyone, I am doing ok. Haven't been getting in my exercise walks pre-Disney trip like I wanted to. So many things keep creaping up on us, that all of a sudden it is time to go to bed.

On the upside we have our costumes almost done for MNSSHP. We are going as the Haunted Mansion Dancers! I can't wait!:banana: My outfit was a SAGA! I bought a dress on clearance over the internet. It was this ugly green color, but I figured we could bleach it white.... nope, no way, turned an uglier shade of pukey yellow. (just tried a small spot). Ok, no problem, lets just spray paint it white..... NOPE, No way! It was taking so much paint, but didn't change colors.:confused3 :headache: So this was last night, we leave next week, what's a girl to do? I either have to quick sew something or pray I can find something at a thrift store. Well, I found the PERFECT thing. A wedding dress!:bride: It was 1/2 price of their normal ones... they normaly go for $100!!!:scared: (Remember this is a thrift store), and I got this one for $50. It would have been at least that to sew a costume and the time to do it would have been very stressful. I just needed to sew in a panel on each side to make it fit me, and Voila.... I have my dress!:thumbsup2

We added spray paint to all of the outfits to make them look "ghoulish", some purple, blue and moss green, I am going to sew on some spiders, and some worms, and we are ready to party for MNSSHP!!!!!party:

I don't get it, I have been exercising and watching my calories and I am not losing anything. This is so frustrating!
 
We had soooooo much fun last year on Halloween night at MNSSHP as a Pirate family. You earned a great trip by living to the fullest- enjoy every minute....
