Today's question: I really like my creative side. I love to scrapbook and make cards and gifts for everyone. I also love to see the expressions of the receivers.

GREAT WORK Black team! I haven't done the best that I know I can this week, but I do know that I am doing better than I would be without you all.:cool1:

Question of the Day
Who is your support system for weight loss/ getting healthy

Right now, my biggest support system are my two kiddos. They are working on phyiscal fitness in gym where they have to keep track of their stretching, strength training and aerobic excercises each week. I then have to sign off on them. This has been pushing me to keep things going but they also support me and tell me that they will work out with me, etc...
 
This is my support system. Dh will eat what I want but it is up to me to work out and eat right.

Support system is a hard one. Dfiance (dh tomorrow!) tries, but he doesn't get it. He loves me fat or thin. Although he does try to "help" by reminding me not to eat certain things. My mother gives me those cute "you would be so pretty if you lost 20lbs" type comments. My friends are either naturally skinny (and I hate them for it), not really interested in their weight (whether fat or thin) or always on a diet, but never really on plan and bemoan how they don't lose weight. In the end it is you guys I count on most for this! :thumbsup2


On a different note, I signed up for a group personal trainer starting next week. I meet with him every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 am until Jan 30 for only $400. I am rather sure I am going to hate it. Not so much the class, but getting up at 4 am to get to the gym on time.
 
I've managed to make time to WALK this week. After I drop my girls off at school I've been heading out for about a 1 1/2 mile walk.

Right now my biggest support is this board and my willpower and determination. I will be 40 in April. My dad had a heart attack in December and had quadruple bypass - heart problems and stroke run on his side of the family. My mom was just diagnosed with skin cancer. SO - I'm really trying to get healthy and take care of myself now.

Missed visiting the boards yesterday. Sex and the City came out on DVD and I just HAD to spend my evening watching the movie for the 4th time. But, I digress...

I like my sense of fashion. I try to keep up with the trends, but in an age appropriate way.

Today is WW weigh-in day. Hoping for good news. I don't weigh at home so it's always a surprise for me. Stayed OP, so don't see any reason not to post a loss.

support? Gotta be my WISH buddies!!! I live in a house full of saboteurs!! My DH had a heart attack almost 2 yrs ago at age 48 & instead of being a wake up call his attitude was 'they fixed it, I'm good for another 48'. I tend to get criticized for my food/exercise choices. Oh well....I have the best support ever....WISH!!!!!! And the WW weigh in lady when I make it which is NOT regularly!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!! Once again I'm not looking forward to Friday. Exercising more & the scale is moving in the WRONG direction so far.....oh well....time......
 
Doing really well here staying on track with my diet and only water all the time which I am really getting use to, now I have begun exercising which for me is rare and far between but I am walking 2 miles a day right now I will work my way up I hope but for now keep on track and loving everyminute of it!!

Yesterday's question: I like that I know a little bit about a LOT of things. I have a friend who always call me with random questions. She says that she could look it up online, but it's easier to call me, and I have never not know the answer.


Today's question: my support system - me. Which is why I am doing the BL challenge this year. My sons absolutely throw fits when I am dieting. Why don't we have ice cream. But I want to go to McD's. Mommy - here I want to share my M&M's with you. Since they are 2 and 5, I guess that I can let it slide. DH is another big problem. He wants me to diet for both of us. I don't have that kind of will power - I have just enough for me. It has been almost 3 years since my huge weight gain while pregnant. And I have realized why I can't get the weight off. I don't have the will power to tell me "no, you don't really want to eat that" AND tell DH "no - you don't need to eat that." So I let him know that he is on his own. I will still fix healthy meals. I will pack his lunch for him, but I will not diet for him anymore.
 
Ok, teammates - I need help with a totally random question.

DH and I wanted to play Rummikube last night, but we only had 102 of the 104 tiles. It has been a while since we have played, so we couldn't remember if you used all of the tiles or not. DH said it probably wouldn't make a difference, and I said it was like playing a game of cards with only 50 cards in the deck. What is your opinion?

Wow! That sounds SO FAMILIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I"ve given my DH the WW materials & he gives them back & says it looks good, figure out how many points he gets & give him the correct portions for his size. NOT!!!! Not only is it not feasible to do it for them, if they don't learn, they won't keep it up!! (which is why my DH had a heart attack at age 48 & is still just as heavy & sedentary)

WW Weigh In today- down .6. I won't be the biggest loser this week, but a loss is a loss.

Yesterday's ? I like that I am becoming so much more disciplined with my eating habits and exercising and am trying to do more for me. Just back from the gym even though I couldn't get there until 8 p.m. I went anyway. DKs had homework done, dinner was eaten and kitchen cleaned, laundry going, so I headed out and am glad I did.
