I'm down almost a pound from last Friday. But, I also lost almost 4 pounds that I put on when I was out of town last weekend!!
I was at the gym at 5:30 am Mon - Thurs. I sweated my butt off! I ate better than I have all summer. It's so hard for me to lose weight. I really needed this challenge to keep me motivated. Thanks!!

was wondering do you give out challanges for each team to accomplish for the week r is it just more reporting your weight loss/gains?
========

nevermind LOL someone filled me in ;)

Congrats black team! Wow, some great losses this week. I am down a pound and starting exercising again. I'm looking forward to a bigger loss next week! Have a great week-end...Go Black Team!

Good Saturday morning

MY dh is away this weekend, ds2 is at college and ds1 is sleeping and will probably sleep until 11. The day is pretty much mine. I have a couple of projects that need to be done

We will be starting Questions of the Day on Monday.

If you are not sure what this thread is for let me tell you. This is the place where we can give each other pep talks when things are low. To high five each other when we do something right. We can use the threads to discuss diets highs and lows

Please ccheck back often and give suggestions about how to make this a better thread.

With no one here this weekend I plan to be eating pretty light.

SPecial K with milk
watermelon and cantalope for snack
yogurt with wheat germ and flaxseed for lunch

DOn't know about supper yet.

Yesterday I had over 13000 steps and 15 minutes of pilates and weights.

Hope everyone has a losing day.

Hi Black Team!!

Posting exercise for today:
1 hour on the elliptical and a few Nautilus weight machines

Good day today. No problems with my eating. Stayed OP. Had to go shopping for new clothes since I've lost 22 lbs so far. My WW leader suggested Good Will, since you don't really want to invest in a lot of clothes when you have more weight to lose. I thought that was a great idea! Picked up a Liz Claiborne cardigan for $3. They really had a decent selection, but you need to take the time to look through everything. Saw some Talbot's, Liz Claiborne, Jones NY. They also had a Coach bag there for $150, which I was surprised to see, as well as a Prada bag. So, I'll be back there until I hit goal.

Also an exciting day in my house since the Chicago Cubs clinched their Division. DH and I are originally from Chicago, and DH is a huge CUB fan. The best part is that they did it against the STL Cardinals. (We live in STL now) :woohoo:

Happy losing everyone. Keep up the good work.

Good SUnday morning. Just a quick post. I have been to church, had breakfast, went grocery shopping. I still have laundry to do and some spots in the house to clean before dh gets home from camping. I have also started a pot of meatballs and sausage for dinner a couple of times this week (subs and with macaroni one night) especially tomorrow night when I don't get home until after 5 and I have a pork tenderloin for dinner.

Hope everyone has a great day.

exercise for today: 50 minutes on elliptical machine

I don't post much during the week so heres hoping that everyone has a losing week!! Our thread seems really slow does it pick up more during the week?

Do we find out which team has lost the most this week or just at the end of the challenge?

Go Black Team!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi everyone! My name is Audrey and I just joined tonight. I'm very excited to be part of a team and help me propel forward in my weight loss. I've lost 15 lbs over the past 2.5 months but have been in a rut for the past few weeks. I was losing steady but ever since the end of Aug and going into this month, I've stalled out. I'm a teacher so I think the stress of school starting has been doing a number. I've stayed on my meal plan for the most part but some days you have to grab what you can due to scheduling. But I try to avoid doing that as much as possible.
Anyway, I'm determined to get back on track so I can keep losing for my Dec trip to the World!! :cutie:

Hello all,

My weekend was a little difficult. Culinary school started again, so I came home with 3 big "frangipane" pies. I must say, they were pretty good, and seeing the ingredients we used, each containes at least 5 billion calories.

Next to that, on Friday, my client finally approved my holiday request, and since my employer can't do me anything, I didn't wait for their approval to go book my vacation. (what will they do if they don't approve and I leave anyway? Kick me out? In theory, they can't, and in practice, I will be gone on October 15 anyway! ha!)
Sunday morning, I am leaving for one week in Marrakesh, Morocco (the real one, not the fake one at Epcot). We first thought staying at an all-in (promotion) but then decided to pay more for a half-board hotel, becaus ethat would mean we would eat less => better for the diet!
I am not one who "indulges" on vacation (= gaining back in 1 week what you got off during the past 3 months, no thank you very much).

I hope the weather will be nice, so that we can spend half the time at the pool and half the time visiting things.

The thread might be slow because the link in the week 1 thread doesnt work (At least it didn't for me). I found the new thread this morning. Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend!

Good morning everyone. Just a short thing before I start my day. We will be doing a Question of the Day starting today. I will be posting it later.

Have a losing day.

Good morning all! My bachlorette weekend is over now and I don't want to get on the scale! Bad, very bad! :lmao: Did nothing good exercise wise (although doest hitting a piñata shaped like male genitalia count? :rotfl: ) and don't plan on doing anything good these next few days. There is just not time!

WI: I lost 2 lbs this week!!!:cool1:

So do we just tell our losses here or do we need to email our results like last week? I'm new to BL.

Go Black Team. It sounds like we are off to a great start!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Challenges start next week. Look for my post on Thursday. If you look through week one, there is a link to the pre-challenge and some info.

(although doest hitting a piñata shaped like male genitalia count? :rotfl: )

Just be sure to keep that memory alive... there will be days that the image of hitting male genitalia with a baseball bat will be all that get you through the day.... ;) :lmao:

I had a super busy weekend - gymnastics, soccer, 2 birthday parties, my niece spent the night, a business meeting at church, and I had to try on Maid of Honor dresses  , My Sis is getting married in Feb. My wedding dress rant - I have already lost about 15 lbs, and plan on losing at least 10 before I have to order the dress in Nov. - Then I plan on losing 15-20 lbs between the ordering of the dress and the actual wedding. I have no idea what size dress to order :confused3 this will end my rant.

I did not eat any B-day cake!!!! BUT - when DH mentioned "Snappy Tomato" (pizza buffet) outloud - I was out voted by 4 -1. I had a large salad and 3 pieces of pizza. So considering how busy the weekend was - I did pretty good.

Today's Question of the Day

Tell us about your Disname

Mine is just my first name and my first letter initial. Yea my first name is spelled with 1 n. I am a twin and my mother found two names in a book for twins. Her name is Dena and mine is Dona. UNtil I married we had 1 letter difference between our two names.

Next?

Since I'm on, I'll go next. No rocket science here....I have not a creative bone in my body, but I'm a planner & for many years planned all the gymnastics travel for my son's team....Gold Cup.... I needed some name for IM, etc, that other team parents would remember. So, it stuck! BTW....Gold Cup is the home gym of Joey Hagerty, recent olympian.

Weekend here was NOT good. Hormones are totally whacked, sleep is whacked & therefore eating has been all over the place. 1 step forward, 10 back...sigh.....

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!! I needed to get up & get moving, instead, I took a much needed NAP!!
