Thank you guys for posting and sharing your exercise thoughts for our challenge. Every point counts. I am glad we have regulars posting here, and it is always great to here from people that don't have a chance to post too often. I know life is busy and I appreciate you all stopping by here to say Hi.
iggbees (Kristin), congratulations loser, keep up the great work! How did your Thursday night exam go? What class was it for? Keep up that cardio, every point counts!
dizchick (Val), I know you can squeeze in that exercise somehow. I am having that problem too. Just think of good it will feel to get it done and how good it is for you. Remember, every point counts. We need your help to win this challenge. I know you recently relocated, was it for work? What do you do for a living?
winniedapooh(Michelle), Your walk by the ocean sounds wonderful. I wish I could join you sometime. I am 30 minutes from the ocean here but never can seem to get there and really enjoy the peacefulness. I'm glad your recovery after surgery is going well. What type of knee surgery did you have? I know the recovery is slow and we don't want you to push yourself just to get a couple of lousy points for this weekly challenge. The important thing is to do what you can, which you are, and that is great. Thanks for doing what you can to help with the challenge.
Tensixmom (Jennifer), I'm so glad you stopped by and shared the meaning of your screen name. It is one of the most appropriate I've seen.
agnes!, You seen to be technologically gifted. Please help those of us that are clueless. How do I attach the clippie to my signature? Since the signature change I can't figure it out. I have the clippie in a file on my computer but can't figure out how to get that in the signature. I have looked at the tech thread, but that has not helped me.
You mentioned taking DD to the Homecoming dance and that they grow up too soon. You're not kidding sistah. I remember when my three were small I just could not wait until they quit crying, pooping, and spitting up. Then in the blink of an eye they all grew up. Next month my baby, DS22, will be married. When he moves out this time he will not be coming back. Looking back all I can say is 'Wow that was fast'. At the time though I never thought those teenage years would end. Motherhood is such a blessing and that is really easy to say as I wave good-by to them all.
maryliz (Mary-Liz), you expressed concern about only earning 5 points for last weeks challenge. I am very grateful for those 5 points. Your participation is very much appreciated. This is a team effort and the contribution of every member is important. Wear that clippie with pride. We did have a nice weigh in this week, I still can't believe we lost 1st place by 3 pounds. I should have contributed them, hopefully this weigh in will be better for me.
ibouncetoo (Jackie), Thanks for keeping us up to date on The Biggest Loser TV show. I think it is 8:30-10 E for the next two weeks. Don't you just hate what Neil did? My daughter lived in Simi Valley at one time, that's not the valley you're in is it?
bcvprincesses (Ann Marie), I too have been SERIOUSLY slacking lately. Let's motivate each other. Tomorrow is the start of another week, let's get our acts together and get to work. I know I can do this and I know you can too! Tomorrow I will journal and meet all 5 of my daily weight loss goals. What will you do tomorrow to get back on the right path?
mom2alix (Rebecca), I'm glad your kids are well cared for at the gym while you get to exercise and even watch Oprah at the same time. You are very fortunate to have such a special exercise buddy. DH and I have dates to Home Depot or Lowe's. It would be neat someday to go to the gym with him. Is Alix your DD? That's an unusual spelling.
bridgetgabbie (Robin), Thanks for running in the rain for the Red Team. Well I hope it wasn't just for us. Those endorphins from exercise are really great. How did your MIL birthday celebration go? Did she enjoy the special cake? Can I find the recipe at WW online? My grown kids will soon be all over the country and I would deeply love to spend a future birthday with them and DIL or SIL. I would be grateful for whatever was served and I would love sharing the day with those that mean the most in life to me. Did you get any peace and quite early Sunday morning? I remember when the house was full of chaos, those quite moments were delightful. My DGS (darling grandson) 9 months is Yoda for Halloween. His other Grandma came out to visit and took the family to get pictures and he is wearing his costume. My son is going to email me a copy of the photos. I can't wait to see them. I hope your party with family was fun today.
Well, I have checked in with everyone. I just want you to know how much your posts mean to me. It is fun to share a bit of your lives. We are on this Biggest Loser journey together and it is great to get to know you each.
Have a healthy day!
