Good morning Red Team! Welcome to week 7. Yes week 7 already. Today is weigh in day so please report your weight to me by midnight tonight, Tuesday.
How are things going for you? I'm assuming everything is good because the post count on our threads is steadily decreasing. Week 1 was 126, 2 - 89, 3 -99, 4 - 100 (that was up), 5 - 75, and 6 - 43. The black team asked it's members to check in everyday and log their food intake. Their post numbers surpassed ours last week 46 to our 43. Does any of this really matter? Probably not. Being the numbers girl I am I just notice these things. The important thing is that we are losing and developing new healthy habits. I hope you have had a good week Red Team.
Red Team qustion of the day
Do you have or have you had any pets? Tell about them.
Me first. Growing up the only pet we ever had was goldfish. We only had one at a time and kept them in a bowl, not an aquarium. My husband grew up with cats and we have had several outside cats over the years. Being the worrier that I am I always worried too much about the cats. We had one give birth once and I think I worried more about her kittens than she did. We always let them have one litter and then got them spayed. A few years ago we lost the last cat and never got a new one. With the kids growing up and leaving the last thing I need is something else to worry about. I do miss having a cat to cuddle with, but the last few had were not cuddlers anyway.
Well that's my story for the day. What's your story? What's on your mind? This thread is for you, for us. Let's use it to our best advantage and really help each other this week.

We next got a rescue that they neglected to tell us bit a child, we had 4 then, and we ended up finding a super adult home for him. Our old lady came next. Daisy will be 12 in January, sleeps alot, is selectively deaf and has trouble seeing close up objects...she does run around the yard like a pup still, lol! We also had 2 rats that have since died, they make awesome pets but with 4 cats...I don't want to tempt anyone.

and I vetoed that so she became Autumn. Autumn was born on St Patricks Day and we got her from a neighbor. Callie was an SPCA adoption and when we got her they said she was about 7-8 weeks old, so we counted back and 8 weeks was St. Patricks Day, so both of them share the same birthday. (maybe since we really aren't sure about Callie it is just the date we picked when we got her and Callie is the older of the 2).
