Bitten by the bug again

I thought before Christmas we had all the points I needed for now!

I am planning our next trip for Easter 2016. We have a cruise in the middle and come back to WDW for 4 nights which I would like to book VGF.

We have 55 points originally intended for banking and borrowing so 3 nights in a 1 bedroom lake view every 3 years.

However we now travel every other year and intent to thus forward. I don't have banked points this time so need to either:

Stay only 2 nights then go to AKV
Chance 7 months and book the second 2 night with my AKV points
Book 4 nights in a lake view studio.

Now i would have been happy to do the studio but 1 bedrooms are us. Added to that the problems with availability. Added to that my work just gave me a bonus and I could afford 55 points.

Arggg think I'm talking myself into this. Wonder if I have caught Poly fever!

We caught BLT fever and bought without staying there, now all we have is a BLT rash.

Not that BLT is bad, it's just not our place, lesson learned.

Unless the resort has a limited number of your rooms, you want a fixed week, or some other reason for buying direct, I would wait until after staying there and buy resale.

Oh I have stayed there and love it but you are probably right about resale.

BTW we also totally l love BLT. Guess we are bay lake people
