Well.... they got me.

After going last September, we were reserved to waiting until next year (2004) to go back to the world. That was until the Fairytale Package came out! Just made my reservations for myself and my giflfriend. And.... in addition, it looks like my mom and two little sisters (age 17 & 8) will be going too. So..... to the disney marketer (or is it "Marketeer") that came up with this incredible package... you got us.

I can hardly believe we are getting to go again - and so soon. Now that I'm a "Disney Pro" (OK... so I guess two previous trips doesn't exactly make me a die hard veteran - but I know an awful lot of tricks from these boards), it should be lots of fun. And since last year we did "Commando Disney", this year we should be able to slow down a little (and we'll have a couple of extra days).

I am curious... my youngest sister will have her 9th birthday while we're there. What do we need to do to make sure her day is extra special? I am already planning on taking her to Cinderella's Breakfast that morning. What else would you suggest?

Make sure you get her a button for whatever park you're going to., and tell the PS taker you talk to that it's a birthday celebration.

When I went to Boma for my birthday dinner, they gave me a special dessert and a birthday card signed by the chefs.

It's not huge, but it is nice.

Ciao,
Mort.

Hey they got me too! :teeth:

On the day of her birthday she needs to get a birthday badge from Guest Relations. It will add a lot of spark to her birthday. My husband did this for his birthday and people were wishing him a happy birthday all day long. Even during the parade they would come over to him to tell him. He was so excited. I'm sure she will be also.

I hope this isn't a crazy questions, but what is the "Fairytale Package"?

The "Fairytale Package" is something that Disney is doing through October of this year. Basically, you pay for 4 nights - and get 3 nights free. It depends on which hotel you stay at, but for my girlfriend and myself here it is.....

7 nights at All Star Movies
8 Day "Ultimate Park Hopper" passes
MEARS from Orlando Airport to the hotel
Trip Insurance....

Total for 2 adults: $1050.00 (including ALL taxes/fee's).

(This price does NOT include airfare... but a little mouse told me that Southwest will be doing their "Friends Fly Free" program again soon)

Last year, we paid more than this for 5 nights at ASMo (obviously we paid for 5 nights as opposed to 4, but last year we went on the "Fall Fantasy Package" - so we were getting a discount then). We really weren't planning on going... but damn... that's cheap!

Woohoo. They got us with this great package as well. The wife and I were booked on the Carnival Glory for mid-September but were forced to cancel last week when my sister decided to change her wedding date. I saw this Fairytale Package and tonight I've sent my quote request to Dreams for the end of August. I estimate the price will be the similiar to our cruise fare, but the kids will be included as well. Can't wait now. What better way to recover from having to cancel a cruise than to find such awesome Disney rates.:bounce:
