Bistro de Paris

Hi everyone,

Has anyone dined at Bistro de Paris with children before. I have a four year old and two month old little boy. My four year old has eaten at all of the other countries and enjoyed it. He has even eaten at Chefs de France and enjoyed that. However I have noticed that this one is upstairs in the France pavilion. Is Bistro de Paris a lot more fancy than the other countries? I am assuming that it would be appropriate for children since it is inside one of the themeparks. If anyone has any experience with this resataurant I would love to hear your opinion.

I went when I was a child and I loved it.

I would only take the kids if they can sit still for approx 2-3 hours for dinner.

Le Bistro is very small, very intimate, great adult restaurant. The food and service are spectacular. There is lots of time between courses..you are not rushed. We were there for at least three hours the night we went.

I just made reservations there for our trip - just be aware that there is a dress code (casual dressy- ) and they do not have a children's menu. I would have been uncomfortable taking small children to a restaurant of this type, because kids are so unpredictable at the end of a long day. It's pretty hard for little ones to be expected to sit for such a long time and remain seated and quiet. Only you know how your children would fare in a more quiet atmosphere.

I wore shorts and a t-shirt when I went...it's in the theme park and would be difficult to enforce a dress code upon vacationers. I thought the only resort with a real dress code was Victoria and Alberts.

We did see children there when we went....perhaps a little older than yours--they were French and very much in their element.

Thank you all for your responses. Three hours will be long time for young children to sit. We better pick a different restaurant this time. It is my birthday dinner so we will pick another nice restaurant that we can do a little quicker.
