Does anyone know if any of the table service restaurants serve bison?

It has such wonderful flavor and is so much more lean/healthy than beef...

Thanks,
Robin

(edited to add the word buffalo to the title)

On the menu they call it Buffalo - but I'm pretty sure its Bison. I know its still on the menu at Artist Point and I've had it as a special at California Grill

Artist Point and California Grill have served "buffalo."

I don't recall seeing it on the California Grill menu recently.

Artist Point has taken it off their menu.........it was gone when I dined there the first week in December. I went and looked at our menus to see if we see it is offered, and it says it is, but we were told by the server it was taken off the menu and we did not see it when we were there..

really?...wow. Wasn't that one of their signature dishes along with the cedar plank salmon?

OH NO!!! We check in at VWL 1/2 and I was so looking forward to having the buffalo again at AP. When I had it before it was so good. I'll be very disappointed if they are no longer serving it. I was so looking forward to having this for my birthday dinner.

That happened to me before at AP when they had venison and then removed it from their menu. They used to have a raspberry venison that was to die for, melt in your mouth great.

Man I miss grilling up Buffalo Burgers... Season with a bit of mustard, salt and pepper...delicious

I ordered the buffalo shank on December 5.

This is what we have as a menu.... the buffalo sirloin is gone.....but maybe they replaced it with buffalo shank??? I did not see it when I was there..

I just checked another site and they say it is a buffalo short rib......so it is the sirloin that is gone.....

I was there the second week of December (The 10th) and ordered the Buffalo Short Rib. I don't remember there being a shank (wouldn't a Buffalo shank be really big) and the steak was gone. I thought they replaced the steak with the rib. The short rib was really good, but short ribs are one of my favorites.

yum, I do love a good short rib!
It would be sad if they had gotten rid of buffalo completely; I remember they used to have even more game on their menu than they do now.
