Biscuit's Grand Adventure | An epic tale three decades in the making!

3 nights with the same outcome is a fairly good indicator that it must be like that fairly often. With LMA the only big draw on that side of the park, I can see why it dies later in the day.
I definitely makes standing in line for Star Tours or Muppets seem a bit silly.

Hello! I just wanted to drop in and let you know how much I am enjoying your TR(s)!

I was working today as a substitute teacher and showing the same video 6 times in a row and decided to use the time to read your report. I am halfway through your honeymoon and darn is it good reading! (Seriously, I would have blown a gasket the first day of the honeymoon if it had been me) I also got married in 1997 and we debated a disneymoon but due to money constraints had to give that up. I am a bit sad to never have seen the working studios before the wizard hat (which I don't actually mind) but I am glad I never had to see the pepto bismol castle in person (What were they thinking?!)

I'm looking forward to more of your adventures!
Howdy and :welcome: ! 1997 anniversary DIS'ers unite! Woohoo! I'm glad to have you aboard! Trust me...that pepto castle nearly scarred me for life.

Another great installment, GB! And I love Nana's input. Bless the grandparents for riding Star Tours, what, FOUR, times in a row?!?!?!:scared1: I mean, I like it and all, but once a trip (if that) is more than enough for me.
Nana held up like a trooper! I don't hink Papa made those last two trips.

I am surprised at the crowds for Fantasmic #2. Though I guess it makes sense with the reduced showings. Glad we've been there/done that enough that we don't feel the need to catch it all that often anymore. I'm impressed that Preston got through the show without being scared. Between the dark and the villians and all the noise, I could certainly see a kid ('specially one who wouldn't do WISHES, for goodness sake) getting overwhelmed. Methinks there may be a bit more anxiety from anticipation vs. from the actual show....;).
The crowd was worse than I expected it to be, but there were still a FEW empty seats on both of the outside sections.

Sorry you and Lady Biscuit missed out on RnRC. It's one of my faves. But it is rare to find an acceptable stand-by wait there once you're over an hour past opening. FP all the way on that one, for sure! (Though I know that would have not been an option in this case...)
Yeah I was bummed! I REALLY wanted to ride that one!

I haven't been here in ages. But felt the need for a little TR. Happily I found this.

I haven't started reading yet. But from the looks of it... this promises to be a fun game. And by that I mean right up there with some of my favourites such as "Feed A Vegan Lard", "Shovel My Driveway Into The Neighbours' Driveway", "Neighbourhood Nighttime Pooper Scooper Roulette" and "Run Like Michael Moore" (NOZZUB).

Ok.

So I'll start it now.

Cheers, Mel.

P.S. I saw that picture of you at your desk wearing headphones.

Showboat.

Great update GB!!

Hey Biscuit....I just got to read 3 updates...well I guess that would be 4 with Nana's update too. That was fun to read them all in one sitting but a reminder of how long I've been missing the reports. Our family has been taking turns dealing with the H1N1 flu....yucky! Luckily my youngest I believe is just about done.

My kids loved Crush also. I do believe the walked around the rest of the day saying "DUDE!" The shark picture is awesome. It makes a great picture to put at work and look at during stessful times! I loved the reports from Nana and to see what they did while you were on your adventure. And what cool grandparents to ride again and again and again and again! That's awesome because I bet that's something those kids will remember and talk about for a very long time! I love being a mom but can't wait to be a grandparent....well umm I guess I can wait cuz I don't want my girls to grow up tooo fast but I want to be that cool Nana too in the future!

We didn't get to tour Hollywood Studios the last time we were there so I'm looking forward to checking it out whenever our next trip will be.

Looking forward to more...

Whew, I know how much stress being separated in a large crowd is! I'm glad you guys met back up without too much trouble. Gotta love cell phones. Back in pre-cellphone days (I can't believe I can remember back that far!) we used to take walkey-talkies with us to Disney World. But that opened up a whole new set of problems when the batteries ran dead, or there was too much static, or someone accidentally changed channels, etc.

Too bad about the Fantasmic photos. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the show, though. I was worried about Preston, too.

HOLY FART KNOCKING COW!

WOO HOO! :woohoo: I’m SO glad you’re back! I’m truly honored you found your way here and gave us a shout out! I’m sure if Zzub were still around there would be sarcasm and loathing, which we all know was his way of expressing affection. Now that you’re back, you HAVE to stop by often. Otherwise dancing bananas may be dispatched!

Me too!

Mel's here!

Denise

Yikes! Sorry to hear you guys have been dealing with the pig bug! Glad to hear you are recovering!

I know! I was totally doing surfer talk all day. OH, I just did it again. Totally! Okay I’m stopping now.

It was an AWESOME time and a fantastic memory that they will have to look back upon.

Back in my youth pastor days we did the whole “Family Radio” thing on several events. They were o.k., but they were a bit of a pain in the papoose.

Too bad about the Fantasmic photos. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the show, though. I was worried about Preston, too.
I twas a great show!

Morning, GB! Back to read all the chatter going on here! Fun times here!
How-diggidy-doo! Hope life is treating you well in Blank-a-Stan. I’m hoping to get caught up on a number of TR’s in the next few days so I hope to be over your way shortly.

I'm sure you will find your fantasmic pictures one day. Probably after your next trip when you have already replaced them. At least that's how it works here in my house. :sad2:

Probably so! The frustrating thing is that I had it all ready to take in to drop off and the it up and vanished on me.

Well my friends we are at the half way mark of Season 7 with 4 days down and 4 to go! It's been "housecleaning" day today and I've been going over the past several episodes to correct typos, grammer mistakes, broken links, what have you. I've also been catching up on some great TR's. Since I first began this project, I have tried to keep tabs on all the TR's being written by you guys and gals, my loyal readers.

So while I finish straightening up, I offer up these TR's for your reading enjoyment. I've tried to included all my posters who are currently writing a TR or PTR. If I missed you PLEASE let me know and I will update the list POST HASTE! Without further adieu and in no particular oder, I give you.....You.

Thanks for the compliment GB, but king I don't know. I'll settle for prince....

Thanks for pimping the PTR out.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the shout out GB! We got back today and I"m happy to see that I only missed 1 episode. I'm glad you enjoyed Fantasimic. Luckily we saw it on our honeymoon in 2004 when we didn't have to wait hours to get in. Maybe we'll see it again some day.

I'm glad your girls loved Star Tours. Madeline isn't tall enough for it yet and it looks like she won't see this version at all. I'm sure she'll enjoy the new version though.

Looking forward to more updates!

Holy cow, GB, thanks! Now I gotta go write an update! School + parents coming in town = me being a TR slacker!
