I agree with all you said about POP!! It was a lot of fun staying there!!
We actually thought we were staying there this time (due to the pin code) in two rooms, since we have a 17 year old and a 10 year old we thought it better to have the two rooms. But! We figured it out to be cheaper (by 300 and some cheaper)to stay at the one of the mods that has two queen beds in the room rather than stay in two rooms at the POP.
I'm going to miss it. It's sad how attatched I get to things, even if I've only been there once. Go figure.
We'll be staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. I'm so looking forward to something new, but I will miss the excitment of POP and the food. We get in early enough during the day Mackenzie has requested we eat there for lunch.
However, I won't miss stading in the sun waiting on the bus.
We'll see how everything else compares out.

Can't wait to see how you like CSR! I know what you mean though. I now have a hard time seeing us staying somplace other than the Pop. BUT there are some other resorts I'd love to try too so it will be a matter of funding at this point.

Well GB I have been off the boards for awhile due to lot's of crazy crazy stuff going on in my life, but recently have been able to start catching up again on TR's. I must say I almost shed a tear when I realized yours was coming to an end. I have enjoyed your report soooooo very much, your writing is superb and your hilarious (I love the airport incident). Your family is adorable and I'm so glad that you guys had a fabulous time, I cannot wait until you go back so I can read another one of your adventures.

Thanks for your in depth review of Pop. I have previously stayed at Sports and Movies and next on my value list is pop (or any mod or deluxe ). I would urge you to try Movies at least one time if only for comparasion's sake. I liked it better than Sports because of theming, the main pool and food court. I preferred the look of the rooms at movies (didn't find them run down) over the new mostly beige rooms at Sports. The whole resort just felt so Disney.

And you cabbage problem at the airport was classic! So funny! I swear I smelled something funny the rest of the day!

Howdy and since I don't have my list of posters handy and can't remember if I've said it before, I would not be averse to trying the Movies. I like the look of the photos of the place. Sports has always been a bit meh in my book. We'll see what cards we are dealt when the time arrives. Thanks for reading along.

We were in the seventies building and passed the Goofy sprinklers every time we went to the main building, so my grandchildren really enjoyed them. Our room was handy to everything, so I don't think preferred is necessary. We found the food court quite adequate, but I'm sorry they took out the slushies.

I've been lurking mostly since I haven't had much time to post, but I have enjoyed your whole TR. We are going back in June, so I have to start getting my plans made! We are staying off-site for the first time, so it will be very different. My DD has a time-share, but that is the only reason I am not staying at Pop again. I will miss the Disney transportation, that is for sure!
