Birthdays at Disney

We are celebrating my 40th and my daughter's 10th birthday at WDW in November. We will be staying at OKW villas. I've heard through the grapevine that WDW does fun things for birthdays, but I haven't seen/heard any specifics. Please share your WDW birthday experiences so that I can have some idea what to expect. Thanks!

Nothing is guaranteed as far as Disney doing anything special for you. Just keep that in mind or you may be disappointed. I would definitely go to guest services at any of the parks and ask for the birthday buttons for you and DD. Sometimes (definitely not always) a CM will see it and do something nice for you and DD. Also if you are booking any dining, make sure you tell them when you book that you are celebrating a special occasion and they will make note of it in your reservation.
