Birthday Party at T-Rex

I posted this in the restaurant forum too but thought I may post it in the families forum.

Has anybody had a child's birthday party at T-Rex? I see on their website that they say to have childrens parties add going to build a dino. But they don't say anything else, prices, what they do for the party etc.

Does anybody know if they decorate the table, can you have balloons on or near the table? Do they organise a cake? Do they have favor bags or something small for the guests. There won't be may of us but my son wants to have his party at T-Rex whilst we are at WDW but I just can't find any info about it or if anybody has done a party there.

I will email them closer to the time to see what they do for children's birthday parties, but really would love to hear from anybody who has had a cake or some sort of child's birthday celebration there.

I posted on the Restaurant board looking for the same info last week, and didn't get any info either. I haven't had a chance to call, but between the two of us, we could post the info once we find it out.

We don't go until September, but I couldn't find anything on the TREX website other than the events area and they have a little write up about having your childs party there and then you could take them to build a dino. But that's it! They should put we can organise a cake or we will decorate your table or something.

Anyway I have sent an email through to them asking for information. I won't call at this stage as calling from Australia would be very expensive so will try by email first. I'll post here if they provide any information.

that sounds awesome but we would need to snag 2 more kids to our group in June. It will be both my boys birthdays this summer and that would have been fun.

Thanks for the info - we only have 2 kids as well, so I don't think they'd do it either. I might try and contact them directly over the next few weeks and see what they say?

That is just the info I was wanting.

I called the restaurant and they gave me the name and number of the girl in charge of parties. Called her and she sent me a bunch of PDF's with all the party information. You can also do a set menu for the adults (if you want to pay for them, or they can do the adults on a separate check) and she sent me those and also sent a picture of all the different dino's you can build. My daughter is HUGE into dinosaurs and even though there will only be 5 kids, I think we're going to do it. Sounds so cute! If you want copies of the PDF's just PM me your e-mail address.
