We are going to be down there next March. We will be celebrating My DH's birthday and my twin DDs'. They all 3 share the same birthday! So now I need to come up something to make the day special for an adult and two 9 year olds. I'm going to order a cake for them wherever we end up dining, but I wanted to do something special too. (Hopefully something FREE!) Any ideas what would make an adult and 2 kids happy?

Free things at WDW are hard to come by. Definitely get birthday pins for everyone. You could also make matching birthday shirts before you go.

If you're already planning to eat somewhere, maybe spring for HDDR, which makes a big deal about birthdays. For some reason, Teppan Edo also springs to mind as the chef at the table will likely make a big deal about 3 birthdays (dad could also enjoy a beer at either of these places).

Not sure how much dad would be into this (it really depends on his personality), but what about arranging a scavenger hunt inside a park? It would be a lot of up front work for you, but it would be free, and you would likely be able to get a lot of help on these boards. Prize for completion could be a Mickey Bar (or something equally Disney-treaty)-- with maybe something more adult for dad.

A friend of mine and I celebrated her birthday last year at Disneyland and I brought birthday candles to put in everything that day! Her morning bagel, her churro, etc... We made sure to get her the birthday button and I got one saying "We're Celebrating... " and I wrote in "Tara's Birthday"

You could bring a blank birthday card along and have characters sign it. Or go around Epcot and have a cast member in each country write "Happy Birthday" in their native language.

You could all do the Sorcerers of the MK game together and establish a prize once accomplished.

As a daddy, noting makes me happier than seeing my little girl happy.

I'd be happy as could be if my wife did something that surprised my daughter and made her happy as could be.

When we were there for my daughters 10th birthday she got a birthday pin from the concierge when we checked in. She wore it the whole trip and nearly every Disney employee told her happy birthday when they saw her. Some even broke out singing to her! She also got cupcakes or something special at several restaurants as well. At the 1900 Park Fare breakfast the Hatter and Alice came over with a birthday card signed by all of the characters and they even gave an 'unbirthday' card to my other daughter so she wouldn't feel left out... we didn't even ask for this, they just did it. Walking around all day and hearing "Happy Birthday Princess!" made her week and made her feel so special.
