Birthday Fun Card

I have signed my dad up for his birthday on September 11th. We already will have tickets and so he wants to get the birthday fun card (the gift card). However, whenever I did it, it said nothing about the fun card. It just said that this would allow him into the park free on his birthday. He has received a confirmation email as well that also says that he can get into the park free on his birthday. Did I screw this up or will they give him the option to get the fun card on that day once we prove that he already has a ticket?

If you have purchased a valid Annual Passport or a Multi-Day ticket that you will use on your birthday,
follow the steps above to sign up, then bring your confirmation message and proper valid ID to the Disneyland® Resort Main Entrance ticket booths and you can choose from one of our other exciting birthday gifts. "

The "other exciting gifts" mentioned above includes the birthday Fun Card

I had signed up on the website for free admission, but decided to get an AP. I had no trouble at all. I didn't mention it, and neither did they. I just went to City Hall on my birthday with my AP and ID, and they gave me my fun card worth $72 in no time at all.

thanks guys! The reason why I was concerned is that his email confirmation does not mention any other options. It just states that he will be able to get into the parks for free on his birthday.
Thanks for relieving my anxiety. I just want everything to go right (since I made such a big deal about it with him).
