Thanks to DVC, annual passes, and $67 each way airfare on Southwest, we'll be spending my 39th birthday at WDW in September. My 180 day mark is quickly approaching and since free dining is in full force then, I don't want to delay making ADRs. Where would you guys suggest we have dinner on my birthday? We're looking for a nice, non-character dinner, with our (well behaved) 8 and 6 year olds. Initial ideas are Narcoosees, Artist Point, or California Grill. Btw we're staying at Bay Lake Towers. Thank you!

I'd go with Narcoosees or Cali Grill, and try to time it for the fireworks.

Narcoosees is one of our favorite restaurants and I think it would be an excellent choice for you. Really all three of the restaurants you list are good. It really depends on the kind of food you're looking for. On our trip this August we're going to try Bluezoo for the first time.

Thank you for the replies! I think I have it narrowed down to Narcoosees or Cali Grill. But, both are 2 TS credits on the DDP so now I'm not sure.... Any non-signature ideas out there? We eat at Kona Cafe every trip so that one is out. How is The Wave?

Have never been to Narcoossee's, but have heard wonderful things about it. Of the other two, I'd vote for Artist Point. IMO, California Grill has gone downhill a bit in recent years.

You'll have to hop on a bus at TTC or drive...but if it were me, I'd schedule it before sunset and have dinner at Sanaa. I'd ask for a window and enjoy my awesome indian/african dinner while watching all the african wildlife pass by on the savannah outside my window.
The ambiance is terrific, food is awesome, service impeccable...and it's still somewhat of a hidden gem!
ETA - Sanaa is 1 TS credit. And we've enjoyed the Wave - good food and service..and it's on the resort monorail, so convenient for you - being at BLT...but I'd still go for Sanaa! (did I mention I love Sanaa?)
