Birthday Desserts besides Cake?

Hello. We have a dinner reservation booked for 12 at Kona at the Polynesian for my husband's birthday. I was looking for some dessert ideas besides just the traditional cake. Any suggestions on where I can look at some options? Is there a way to order cookies for everyone or cupcakes, etc?

They've got a really nice dessert menu there; I'm sure they could put a candle in just about anything!

Have you seen the customer cakes available? There is a sticky thread on this above

I've never seen custom cookies or other things but anything is possible w enough $$$$

or just take everyone downstairs for dole whips

My friend and I celebrated both of our birthdays in July. We had breakfast at Kona, and they brought out this complimentary. Who knows if it will be available on your day, but maybe it provides some Polynesian inspiration.
