Birthday Celebrations

A friend got it a few years ago when we went to AG for her birthday. If I remember correctly, it wasn't all that tasty (cake was very dry and the frosting was too sweet for us). She wanted it mostly for the box. It was a pink plastic box that looked like a treasure box. IMO, it wasn't really worth it. I would have spent the money on treats at Pooh Corner myself. However, YMMV.

We purchased the pink princess treasure chest version the last two trips. I think the cake is icky too! My DD5 has yet to eat more than a bite of one of these. She likes the treasure chest and still uses it to store stamps and stickers. They present it opened with the cake showing. It is vanilla cake with white frosting and sprinkles. As PP mentioned, the cake is dry. I agree that it is not really worth the money spent, but DD5 really wanted the treasure chest. As an aside, you can also purchase party favor bags to be delivered with the cake. We did this for her Bday dinner. The bag had lots of Disney goodies like magnets, stickers, coloring book and crayons. :thumbsup2

We had it a few years ago, it's not that great but it's not terrible either. I mean, you can eat it, it's just not "up to par". DD wanted the treasure chest, she still has it and keeps pins in it.

we have done the birthday party at plaza inn and we have gotten the mini cake at the chr meals. Nothing is the best but i also think that you can eat it and the kid will enjoy it. Its not to much or it wasn't when we went there so im glade we did it. I wont do it this time in less my son wants it again but im gona try do a nice place to eat.
