Birthday cakes

I thought I read somewhere that you can order a birthday cake and get it delivered to the resort. We are staying at SSR and I know there is the bakery at Boardwald but unsure how you go about ordering it before you you. if you can that is.

Ali, You would need to call the boardwalk bakery about 48hrs ahead and then pick up the cake yourself. Over on the restaurant board their is a great thread on birthday and other cakes along with some really nice pictures. You could also call SSR and ask them what they might offer for birthday cakes. thanks Susan I never thought to try the restaurant thread and that is probably where I read about them before !!

If you have a rental car I would drive to goodings and get a cake there. That's what we did for our DDs 3rd bday. It was 19.99 and yummy and very very cute. (red mickey and minnie cake)

When I made my ADR for DH's birthday, I was given the phone # to the WL bakery. i was told I would call the regular phone, hit the ADR # and ask them for the phone #, you might just luck out and not have to trek all over.

Twice I Have called a " Disney Specialty " number , its been 2-3 years so I can't remember the number or the name of the dept. but I ordered a birthday cake with balloons and a card put in the room before we arrived ( this was at Poly ) . I think I had asked either CRO or the resort directly. Good luck .
