birthday cake

Hello I did a search on birthday cakes and I did find one that answered most of my questions but it was a year old thread and thought i'd just make a new one w/ one question i didn't get answered

Does anyone know if the Maya Grill or Pepper market will have a birthday cake I can order? Since we will be staying at CS I thought it would be easier to just order a cake from the resort. Also we will be leaving in 10 days so how soon in advance would you recommend ordering a cake if they do make them. Do I have to make a reservation for dinner and tell them I want a cake?

If all else fails I will have to order one from the Boardwalk Bakery and then figure out where we'll eat it? Do I have to bring it back to our room or is the Boardwalk Bakery a restaurant too?

Bumping. We'll be celebrating DD's 16th Birthday there and I was wondering about this as well.

We stayed at POR last year, where we celebrated my little brother's birthday. A couple days before his bday, we asked the folks at the bakery if it would be possible to get a cake for him. I believe it was inexpensive. It was a single layer round cake, maybe 8 inches, with a Mickey Mouse edible image on it and Mickey sprinkles. I don't recall being given an option about the picture on the cake. We picked it up the day of his birthday, and we just took it back to our room. We probably could have had it at the food court. I would imagine most any resort would be able to do this. It was a cute little cake, and it was a very memorable birthday.

hi,

i am not sure about the coronado springs resort but i know at the wilderness lodge there is a 24 hour notice to order a cake.

i would call the front desk of CS at, 407-939-1000 and ask.

i would think it would be cool to either have it delivered to the room, or by having them send it to the table during dinner (dessert).
