Birthday cake at Boma (can you request no singing or just one person)

We are looking at getting a cake for our son in October for his birthday. he has picked Boma for his birthday dinner. We would like to get him a cake but he is not big on crowds of people / attention to him. So we would like either no signing or maybe just one or two cast members. We have never witnessed them signing happy birthday at any restaurant so we didn't know how they do things.

We order cakes all the time and I always discuss the details with our server when we're seated. For us, it's usually just the timing, but you can tell your server when to bring it out and how to handle it when they do. i.e. Just say he's a bit shy with these things and it would be best if there's no big group serenading him. Ultimately, the restaurants are usually so busy that we've never had more than one or two CMs come by for a cake at a TS spot (with the exception of Goofy's Kitchen at DLR), but better to put this out there with the server before the cake comes out.

We noted that we were on a college graduation trip for my dd and the only restaurant that took any note was Via Napoli... some very hunky and cute servers came over to sing a song in Italian to my dd and bring her a "congratuations" dessert... it was nice. All the other places...nothing.

We just ordered a cake for our son at BoG. We initiated the singing and then the CMs and some other diners joined in. At two other meals my son received birthday cupcakes. Again no singing unless we initiated it.

When I was there last March, they had cupcakes with the desserts. That could be an option if you don't want any fuss made. Just post to ask - cupcakes at Boma? So someone who was there recently can answer that specific question.
