Birthday at Le Cellier???

If I tell them its my DH's birthday will they do anything special? Is there any way to get a small cake at Le Cellier? I have no idea if they are one of the restaurants that will do something. I'm willing to pay!

We celebrated my 50th birthday there in 2007 and our 25th anniversary and my DBF's birthday this past September. On each occasion, they brought out a slice of cake for the "birthday" person and in September we got a piece of cake and a certificate signed by all of the CM's.

You can also order a whole cake and it can be brought to your table... We ordered a cake for my son's birthday but had it delivered to our room instead.... nice surpise and evening snack!

My mother made the newbie mistake of trying to get something for my sister's birthday while talking to the podium hostess. Had I not been in the bathroom at the time she did that, I would have tried to get her to cease and desist.

They brought out a small white cake that wasn't anything as great as the restaurant's desserts would have been, and they charged around $12-13 for it. I would have said we did not order a cake to avoid this, but I didn't want to upset my mom.
