its not that bad really. i was there in january, and the pap smear takes less time than responding to my post did. and it is less uncomfortable than menstrual cramps. its really not something to avoid, just for safety reasons. (even if you don't have an std, maybe you have a yeast infection or something. they can also look to make sure everything appears as normal down there.)
i would advise going, if at all possible.

and i'm aware of how bananas it is (and im currently on the search for a new family dr.) i'm 19, have been on BC for almost 2 years, been sexually active for 2.5 yrs, had a yeast infection, my family dr. is aware of all of this, i went to him for my BC pill, and my yeast infection...and he has NEVER recommended I go see a gyno!!!!
I have NO idea how to go about finding one, so I've never been!!!

I WANT to go, but I have NO idea how to even find one in my area!!
I've mentioned it to him, but he's just told me I have no reason to go.
