I think I read somewhere that if you are in a group, they file all of your bioscans together when you first use your passes - so it will work, even if you mix your tickets up amongst the original users. Anybody know about that?

Yes they do, however it should not be problem because you will need to sign the back of your ticket.

What is bioscan ? Are the park tickets seperate from the room key? I will be at POR 5 nights but got a 10d MYW ticket because we move to WL for another 8 nights. How will that work????

I'm still not sure I understand this Bioscan thing completly either.

It's for AP holders only, correct? We visit each year for a week at spring break and buy park hopper passes, etc. to cover us during our stay...we don't have to deal with this do we?

I'm not at all amused by anyone logging more personal data anywhere else, especially this type...

Nope, all adults who enter the parks have to do it. Its just a measurement of your fingers.

We just got back today and we had to do the bioscan with the new MYW tickets. We did have one day left on our old park hopper tickets and we didn't have to do the scan with these tickets.

As others have said, it is for all MYW tickets as well as annual passes, this would include those bought with a hotel package in 05. You will sign the ticket as well, which means no mix-ups should occur. The scan is to verify your identity and quite simply is better than everyone needing picture ID.

That's not accurate. They link the scans when you BUY your passes, not when you use them. If the passes were purchased from different sources, or at different times, the linkage will not exist. If you want them all linked, you apparently must purchase them all in a single transaction.

As far as I have been able to determine, there is no procedure in place to link MYW passes at the parks, and if they did put one in place, it would have to be done at Guest Services, not at the turnstiles.

This is correct. They must be purchased together.
