For my application to the science high school, I need to write a bio so my teacher can write a reccomendation. Problem is, I have no idea what to write. Help me, please?

I guess it depends on what they're looking for. As much as I hate to say it, they you need to milk every little problem you've ever had. If your parents went through trouble, if you lived in a bad community, if you've had some sort of illness. Especially if you're not white and have experienced any sort of racial prejudice. People like success stories. People like people who can come from nothing and achieve everything.
Write down anything you've ever done that could be considered 'helping the community'. That includes babysitting, PICKING UP LITTER (they love that one), encouraging people to vote, working at a church/shelter, anything that shows that you are a 'good person'.
Include your academic biography, but obviously you're going to want to play off your successes more than your failures. This isn't a time to be humble. (Same goes for the above).
Also add in HOW THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE, and WHY YOU NEED THIS. It's great if you can tie it into your problems. For example, you've always been put down because of _____, so you need to succeed in science school not only to show them how great you can be, but to find self worth as well.
It's basically like writing a college application. People love problems. Good luck. :)
