Ok, I'm a little fuzzy. It looks to me like bingo lasts about an hour or so each time. And, I saw that people bought packs at about $30.00. Is this just for the one hour? Seems expensive entertainment for an hour. I like to play, but am not a big gambler and would like some idea before we cruise so I can either plan on it, or not.

Thanks
Tammy

Yes that is for the one hour time period. You don't have to buy the $30 pack though. I think you can spend a little as $10 or $15 for the hour.

It can last alittle longer depending on the luck of the group. Usually the larger the group the quicker the Bingo game. We really loved Bingo. You can play as often or as little as you please.

just returned from 9-13/9-20 western cruise. one person walked away with $6300.00 from the last day of bingo. HOW AWESOME!!
He showed no emotion. No one even heard him yell bingo out. I would have been flippen out.

He probably had one thing on his mind "getting up to the desk to book the next cruise!"

on the 4 night wonder you could buy one of three packages.
1. 1 bingo card for each of the 5 games ($10)
2. 3 bingo cards for each of the 5 games ($20)
3. 6 bingo cards for each of the 5 games ($35)

You could also purchase extra cards for JUST the Jackpot game...
I think it was $10 for the three card one and 20 for the 6 card one.
One thing though... with the multi card packs (3 or 6 per game) All 3 or 6 cards are on one sheet and you cannot rip them up to make smaller cards to share. If the card is damaged in any way it is no longer valid for collecting cash. You can separate the sheets for each game though.
I was totaly confused as to how bingo worked before we went on the cruise since other cruise lines do it differntly and no one I know had ever been on Disney before.
It was fun, If you are going on a seven night then I probably would not play every nigth, but definitly pre buy for the last game and get there early for a good seat!:D

We were on the 8/23 Eastern and 1 person walked away, get this, $11,400 on the last day.....Now that's a jackpot !! Andy

Cruising in 19 days, never played Bingo before...may have to give it a try!:p

For the Disney bingo newbies, can someone please explain how it is done? How is it different from the plain old bingo we played as kids?

Who's the present Bingo King? We had Andy, Que and Karen for the most part. They made Bingo a blast!

You buy a 5 game pack, either 6, 3 or 1 game per page. You fold back the paper when you have a number. Each game has a different winner (5 across, 4 corners, a square, 7 random numbers or a coverall, etc.) When you win you call "Bingo" and then you share the jackpot with whoever else wins too. In the final game if you win, you can win the weekly big jackpot which goes up each day.

thanks!
I hope it is over in time for the 8:30 dinner seating though. It looks like we need to dress for dinner, see the show, go straight to bingo, then straight to dinner this time. I am not sure I am going to like this late dinner seating but wanted to give it a try.

We did late seating the last two cruises and it worked for us. The early seating was too rushed for us. You can arrive a few minutes late for dinner if you have to. Just make sure you are dressed before you go to Bingo. Also, there are several Bingos thruout the week. Don't go if it's going to stress you out. There are several in the morning and the afternoon.
