Besides eating them as is, does anyone have any great recipes for using fresh bing cherries?

:sunny:

Mine never last long enough to make anything. Before I know it, I've eaten the entire bag. :o

I went through 2 very large containers of them last week. Mmmm. They were so good.:o

Looks like I'm not the only one. Are those good for cobblers or pies?

I don't know...I finally made a cherry clafouti. It's cooking as we speak, um...talk...write. The recipe said to use sweet dark cherries, and Bings are sweet, dark cherries....

We'll see!!

Ever since I had Cherry Pancakes in Door County, Wisconsin I've been dying for some. I suppose Bing would work for those! I'd just chop some up and sprinkle them on my pancakes before I flip them.

Same here. Between me and my ds, Bing Cherries never last long enough to do anything but pit them and eat them.:o When it's Bing Cherry season around here, I know i't's officially summer.:sunny:

No recipes but I can't wait until the Michigan cherries are ready for market. They are so GOOD!

ok, the clafouti was the most disgusting thing i've ever had. i don't think it baked right. it was more like an opaque jello than a "cake like pudding". :(
