How long is the Billy Hill & the Hillbillies show?

If we go to the 11:15 show on a Thursday or Friday mid-May, how early should we get there for a decent seat (just so my little ones can see ok, not planning to eat there)?

Thanks!

I'd like to know as well! Not that long ago this show was always packed. In order to see it you had to stop by in the morning and make a reservation. I don't believe theres any reservations now.

I'd like to take the girls there for lunch and a show but they'll never go for having to get there an hour early.

They don't take reservations, but the shows do fill up fast. I believe the shows are now dark on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

For the 11:15 show, I would get there around 11:00 at the latest and 10:45 if you want to be near the front. You line up on the porch for the first show until they let you in a few minutes ahead of time. The show lasts about 25 minutes, I think.

I agree - get seats 15 mins ahead of the show at the very latest - we saw the show this Tuesday and got there about 20 mins beforehand and got one of the last tables.
We planned to eat ice cream there too, but the queue was so big I whipped (small joke) around to the Tiki Room and brought back 4 Dole Whips instead... mmmmmmmmmm. It was really warm so they were melting slightly all the way back thru the Adventureland crowds ("Watch your back there, comin' thru!")
It was the first time we'd seen the show - it was great.
Enjoy it in May!

I think 30 minutes early would be a good idea if you want good seats. We really enjoyed sitting upstairs. Try not to sit on the side though because you can't see very well.

I'll probably get a pie in the face for letting this secret out ;), but the Stage Door cafe next door sells the same food that you get at the bar (they share the same kitchen). If the line's long inside, just head outside and hang a quick left...last few times I was able to just walk straight in get my food and be back before the line inside has moved.

Thanks for that little nugget.

So...what days is the show being performed now? And which of those days is Elvis Billy there?

Mike, The Billies are performing Thursday-Monday. The Gold Team performs Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the Blue Team performs Sunday and Monday. Laughing Stock Company will be inside the Shoe on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Kirk Wall (Elvis Billy) and Billy Fiddle are on both the Gold and Blue Teams, so they are there full-time.

Hope that helps! :goodvibes
