When you charge things to your room key, they bill anytime to the card or just one at check out?

They bill our American Express card at checkout.

At checkout and they will give you a list list of what stores and date that you charged to the room keey. I'm looking at the one from our 2002 trip and it even specifies what card (mine or dh) that made the purchase. This will help when we take my mom with us on the upcoming trip.

They will bill your card either early in the morning on the day you check out or when you reach $500 at a value, $1000 at a moderate, or $1500 at a deluxe, whichever comes first. If you continue to make charges after they do the transaction on check out day, they'll charge it again early the next day.

I like to know how much I have spent each day, so I go to the desk and have them bill out each day or so. I usually go late at night when the desk has no check-ins waiting.

This way I can keep up with my budget. I have also found it easier to review the bill. I know more or less how much I spend each day. I have only found 1 discrepancy in the bill. And they corrected it immediately. It was a dinner bill that went through twice. You could see as it was within one minute of each other. Even Disney makes mistakes. I would hate to have to look at my bill for 7-8 days all at once to check for accuracy, or see the HUGE bill at once LOL.

I was happier knowing I was still under budget on day 4. I then could add more magic with like that Momento I loved but said if only I had the $$ at the beginning of the trip ( matching Kimono's for my DD's).

I live in a cash world my CC is a Debit card. My CC i pay off each month. One CC was canceled on me as I didn't use for over 2 years. Now I use at least once a month and go online and pay even before the bill arrives in the mail.
