Boy! Did I ever need that today! I walked 105 miles last month and only lost 7 pounds...but the inches were off so that made me feel better...this month I've stuck to 30 miles last week and this week it's been NONE!! I pulled weeds/did outside cleaning for 6 hours on Saturday and it felt like my hamstrings were on fire! It hurt so badly to just sit and stand!! I took Aleve but nothing seemed to help, though the treadmill would help warm up the obviously stripped muscle fibers, nope. So, I've been down about not being able to walk, then yesterday I was taking my son and his friend to rowing practice and while on the interstate hit screeching halt line of traffic, I had plenty of braking distance, but the car behind me did not and slammed into us...my whiplash is not fun but none of us were seriously hurt...my car held up really well, his had to be towed away...today I've had 9 grapes, a junior cheeseburger and small fry and two chocolate chip cookies...that's my entire day..bc my dog needed me to take her out 6 times last night for an upset tummy..I slept from 9am-2pm today...it's just been crazy! So seeing the success of my inches off posted has reenergized me for the weigh in on Friday, I was just so down this week with the hamstring pain and then the accident....sigh. Thanks for cheering me up and I'll get back on plan tomorrow!!

It's been fun though!!!
) so I feel like I have all these calories left when I don't. I stopped counting because I was getting burnt out. I've been eating more carbs than I need.
At least it was less food than two entrees I guess.
), made my bed, made my breakfast, checked email, and next up I am heading out with DS to run a few errands before grabbing DD from Driver's Ed. THen I promised the kids a quick lunch out as a treat before heading home to get SOMETHING accomplished before driving DD back to the Y tonight for second swim practice. I've been feeling like I'm just barely keeping up around the house and it is really getting me down.

It's the next best thing to being there.
.

I'll be thinking of you and sending
Shawn.

This is a "Back to Basic-"type week, so first, I suggest we pack.
to Camp WISH!
A-t-en-shun Campers! All campers must be equipped with the following supplies:
I can SO relate to how you are feeling! After being on this journey pretty much NONSTOP for 4.5 years now, I can still feel like a total "diet failure" at times! And there are occasional moments when I totally crave being the old fat Mom who doesn't care what she eats! I get sick and tired of counting points, worrying about every calorie, stressing about fitting in exercise (on top of a pretty full schedule already). I've had a few scale-moments along the way that were SO discouraging that I literally cried and had to think LONG AND HARD about not totally throwing in the towel.... even after losing 80+ pounds!
