Our Biggest Loser 8 Fall Challenge will be ending on 12/18. There are three more weeks left of our Fall challenge and lots of time to make a difference!
The Biggest Loser 9 Spring Challenge will be a 15 week challenge starting 1/1/10 and ending 4/16/10. The dates may be adjusted when we find out when BL 9 ends on NBC or if the participants want a different date.
The format will be the same a other BL challenges, i.e. weekly coaches, weigh-ins, and a COW (challenge of the week). There will our maintainers component this challenge for those of you who are in maintenance mode. Maintainers will be on a separate team and scored differently by keeping within a percentage or pounds within goal.
LuvBaloo will continue as our weight keeper and donac will continue as COW keeper. I will be hostessing and doing the coaching schedule. Worfiedoodles will also be doing her pampering challenges and corinnak has volunteered to do our clippie again. Thank you to everyone who helps run these challenges and makes them a success!
If you haven't participated before, here is some information about our fall challenge http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=33447438&postcount=1. The BL 9 challenge will be similar. You can also read our thread. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=33517401&postcount=1
We need your input for this challenge. Do you like teams and separate threads? Or teams and one big thread? Or teams and separate threads merging into one thread as time goes on? If you are going to be part of the maintainers group, how do you think it should be measured -- % or pounds?
Is it more important to keep to the Biggest Loser show schedule or is it more important that the challenge just keep going regardless of what the show is doing?
Let us know what you liked and didn't like about the fall challenge (or previous challenges) and what you would like to see in the spring challenge. We're a democratic group and your input is important to us. It is everyone's challenge and we want it to be what works best for you.
And if you would like to participate as a weekly coach, please let me know, too, or chime in on the thread.
Thanks for your help!
