Biggest Loser 9 Spring challenge -- Part 2! HERE WE ARE! :)

Thanks for the info on the summer challenge. woot!woot! I'm ready to start fresh again.

QOTD: What is one Disney thing you dream of doing one day?

Going sans kids! I love my kids, but look forward to doing Disney someday and only having to worry about what *I* want to do. (in that case, I better go sans husband, too, eh?)

Disney alone...I did that a few years ago when I was visiting my parents when my mom had surgery...I needed a "fun" break (they are in Orlando) and went to HS alone...it was so FUN! This sounds kind of strange but I felt so free. I actually rode RockNRollercoaster the first time that visit.:goodvibes

I've been not exercising because there are a ton of boxes and crap stacked on my treadmill after clean spring/reorganizing. Tonight I'm stopping the excuses - I have a mini trampoline on the backporch I'm going to pull in front of the tv and jump while watching the second half of TBL.

eta: I should have unburied the treadmill instead...400 minutes walking/jogging is nothing compared to just 15 minutes jumping!

So true! :yay:

So I had my weigh in tonight and lost 2.4 lbs for a total loss of.....99.8 lbs. Yup, as close as I can get to 100 gone without actually being there. Oh well, next week is my 1 year anniversary on ww so I will work on making that goal!

SarahMay

I am soooooooooo excited for you!!!

Tigger - YOU'RE BACK!!!:woohoo: Great job!! And thanks for sharing your struggles...although I know it was frustrating for you it is motivational for me.

Yeah! I made the top ten...barely but I made it again. I'm excited - two weeks in a row!:woohoo:

Congrats to the other top 10'ers AND to everyone who is still committed to a healthier life! We are all making positive changes mentally and physically:cheer2:

Whoo hoo!! Tigger, and all the top losers!! :cool1::cool1: Love seeing all those familiar names up there as a good reminder to get my butt here and post!! Coming here definitely makes me more successful.

I didn't post yesterday, the day got away from me, but I did finish the cake, so that's gone now, and I got out for an hour and walked/ran 3.6 miles. It felt really good, and I'm going to get out this morning after I drop Michael at school.

Pjlla- hope your dd is doing ok, and I can imagine you're on quite a disney high getting ready for your trip. So excited for you.

Flipflopmom- I know I'm behind but when you were talking about celebrating how far you have come, and not how far you have to go, that really touched home for me. 40 pounds is awesome, and definitely deserves to be celebrated. I had been down 40 pounds to the low 180s a few years ago, and gained back 30 of it, but I felt so good then. I was in 14s, and looked good, but like you say, I didn't accept the compliments without sayin how far I had to go. You're attitude is awesome, and it will help you keep that weight off for good. And thanks for the reminder to run. It does help so much.

Jenn- hope your back is feeling better. Nice to see your name up there in the top ten!!

Sarahmay- 99.8 is amazing!!! Gotta work for that last .2, but I bet you'll get it on friday!!!!

I feel like I'm forgetting people, but got to get going.

Like the disney dreams questions, and think I need to up my dreaming as well.
I want to go on a cruise, and will go for my 50th bday in2014, I'd love to stay deluxe, and I'd love to do an adventures by disney trip out west.

Have a great day.:)

I would like to take a cruise that is longer than 4 days. We've actually discussed taking a 7-day next year... perhaps I will be able to cross that off my Disney Bucket List.

We LOVE Disney cruises!

QOTD: I have several Disney dreams like the rest of us:
1) Disney cruise
2) Stay in the castle
3) Disneyland
4) Concierge level for all my trips from now on
5)Food and Wine Festival without the kids
6) Visit all the Disneys around the world especially Tokyo

Your list is great! I totally forgot about my wish to stay in the castle!

* Adventures by Disney - especially the castles one in Europe

Adventures by Disney always look so great. I would love to save up for one of those!

I have neon orange toes at the moment!:goodvibes

Supposedly if you give it 8 minutes a day for 8 weeks you can learn to meditate.

Your neon orange polish sounds fun! I should try learning to meditate...lots of stress and it could help!

We would love to do a Disney Cruise someday, ideally one to the new resort in Hawaii :goodvibes We are planning a Hawaii vacation to the new resort in 2012 in celebratioin of our 20th Anniversary. After this summer's DVC stay at the Tree House Villas I will be hoardiing points for that stay. I'd like to add in a stop at Disneyland on one leg or the other and hopefully make the trip a 3 week trip.

I would encourage everyone to try to the cruise if they haven't...it is so wonderful! I think it is cool that you are staying in the Tree House Villas...I should add that to my dream list!

1ST- I would like to go into Cinderella's Castle in "the suite" -that is my dream.

:cloud9:

Going to do at least 2 miles while watching BL tonight! I'm really tired but I want to keep it up this week.

Your motivation is inspirational! I think about all the times that I feel tired and go to bed...you feel tired but plan on doing more workouts! Great job!

I want to see Disneyland's 100th birthday. Even if it's on tv or online, I want to be there for it.

I bet that will be a big celebration!

Well my little scare earlier this week where I was at my goal weight instead of below it put me 6 pounds under my goal weight today. I'm at 129 today-- I know last night I was losing a lot of water weight--draining from auntie flo so I was curious today and sure 'nuff. I don't think I'll be able to hold at this weight until Disneyland--but it'd be nice.:confused3

I bet your can hold on to the weight you want to be until Disneyland...you are doing great!

My Disney list: (gonna be long)
*stay in the castle
*have a 2 week vaca with the girls (AND their Daddy )
*run a half!;)
*take an adults only trip for our 20th anniversary
*take a Disney cruise (or all of them)
*Have 1 or both daughters in CP
*Have 1 or both daughters married there
*visit the DVC resort in Hawaii
*spend the month of January there as snowbirds sometime when we retire
*have enough points to do all the above!
*ALL the tours, segway, AKL safari, KTTK, Dolphin Encounter, dine w/ Imagineer
* do an adventures by Disney!

Another great list! :thumbsup2

QoftheDay--I would love to take a cruise. We were scheduled to do a Disney cruise over Christmas in a stateroom with a balcony in December of 2001. We ended up cancelling with everything that was going on.

Ooh...a Disney cruise at Christmas. I have seen pictures and the ship looks beautiful. Maybe one day you can try to book one again!

Going sans kids! I love my kids, but look forward to doing Disney someday and only having to worry about what *I* want to do. (in that case, I better go sans husband, too, eh?)

We did it for our 10th wedding anniversary and it was so much fun to go without the kids. I love taking my kids but being without them was a great experience as well!

I've been not exercising because there are a ton of boxes and crap stacked on my treadmill after clean spring/reorganizing. Tonight I'm stopping the excuses - I have a mini trampoline on the backporch I'm going to pull in front of the tv and jump while watching the second half of TBL.

I bet you will feel great after you do some jumping!

So I had my weigh in tonight and lost 2.4 lbs for a total loss of.....99.8 lbs. Yup, as close as I can get to 100 gone without actually being there. Oh well, next week is my 1 year anniversary on ww so I will work on making that goal!

Again...incredible work! I think it will be great to have the entire 100 pounds gone for your WW 1 year anniversary!

The WISH Biggest Loser 9 Spring Challenge
Week 17 Biggest Loser!!

#1- 1.92% - tigger813

Way to go Tracey!

Woo Hoo! I am on track to make my goal for this challenge! Let's make these last few weeks count people!

Great job keeping on track for the challenge! :thumbsup2 I am not going to make my goal but I think when the extra weeks were added that I just set my sights a bit too high and was not realistic about a goal.

Thankfully I woke up in a much better frame of mind this morning. That 20 minutes I spent toning yesterday made a much bigger difference in my mentality, I feel stronger and less flabby. All about the power of suggestion, I guess!

Way to go! Even 20 minutes of toning is great! I need to take a lesson from you because today I felt totally flabby. You have motivated me to be sure I fit it in today.

QOTD
Dh and I have been talking about this. We are starting to talk about retirement and we plan to go to DW to celebrate.
Dh wants to stay for at least 2 weeks.
I want to stay in BLT with MK view for 2 nights.(the practical person in me won't let me stay any longer.
Both do the KTTK tour
Both do the Halloween party.
I would like to see Food and Wine, Christmas decorations, and Flower and Garden

This sounds like this would be an incredible trip!

I feel great and that is the most important part. Working out is feeling good again. I plan on doing 2 miles every night on the elliptical for the next few weeks. I should do well with my eating today and tomorrow so I may get back to where I want to be. It's so hard when it's so close. I feel like Sam last night on the show!

Your hard work is all paying off - keep it up!

I got out for an hour and walked/ran 3.6 miles. It felt really good, and I'm going to get out this morning after I drop Michael at school.

Nice exercising! I love to read when people exercising and it feels good!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are all having a great week...it has been fun to read about everyone's hard work and even more fun today to see the names of our weekly biggest losers! Way to go everyone!

I will say that this has been a very difficult week for me. There is stress at school as the year begins to wrap up and we are given all kinds of extra duties for school carnival, student showcase, end of the year party and so much more. I am also stressed because I know that I have to tell them I am not returning to my job and I am not ready to face that one yet.

I have begun to work on applications for new teaching positions but there are not many jobs out there. You may wonder why I am going to quit a job if there are really none out there...well, for what I get paid at the private school, I could be a substitute teacher (less time commitment) and get paid the same amount (more if I get a long term position). I also have NO benefits at this job - no health insurance, no dental, only 3 sick days (that you can't carry over even) and a million other problems of working in a super small private school. So, the pressure of finding a new job is on.

I have done great with my food choices this week. Last night I went out with friends and we went to Applebee's so I was able to eat smart as I knew the WW points for my meal. I have not been snacking as much and yesterday I was really good about my journal. I want to do the same again today.

I will share my struggle of the week....running. I had a total breakdown on Monday night. DH runs so much faster and seems to really be pushing us lately. I just have been struggling and plus I am totally hormonal right now and I just flipped out on DH and screamed how I was done running. I refused to run and yelled at him about how he is always so concerned with our time and how I just can't run that fast. I yelled at him about how he makes me feel totally bad about myself and how I hate running right now. Some of what I yelled at him was true - I am not happy with running right now but it is mainly because he is pushing us so hard. It seems like every run has to be a "personal best". I miss running and not worrying so much about the time - it used to just be that we were proud we completed the run. In the end, we ran and walk and ran and walked and talked about this whole situation. I think that it will get better and I know that I am just struggling a bit for so many reasons - most of it is mental and I need to figure it out so that I am "chipper Jen" again when I run.

Alright...I have written a book but I feel like I have responded but not really shared this week. Time to get on to new things....

Wednesday's QOTD: What is ONE thing you could not live without for this challenge? It could be a food, it could be a workout video, a piece of equipment, whatever....just share what is the most important.

The thing I could not live without is my Garmin 305. I am totally driven by data. Being able to see how many miles I am running or biking and the calories I burn off motivates me to get back out there each day.

Jen  and that is why I don't like walking with DH - he goes so fast it is just not fun for me! I really really don't like it. I finally told him I don't enjoy it and now I usually go alone and it's much better.

QOTD: My bodybugg!!! I can see how many calories I've eaten and how many I've burned, it's so motivational for me. It's also helped me realize that I'm doing it "right" and I just lose weight slower - probably due to all my meds but it is what it is right/ ;) So I don't give up, just keep swimming (really walking lol)

Oh, my dear DISer's. I have missed you. You may all want to check your fridge's to make sure you still have food because I have ate every bite of food I have come across! I have spent the last week and a half eating every meal like its my last!

I started the diet to go plan for a few weeks. Its all fresh food with no perservatives delivered to your house weekly. Its expensive, but I am only going to do it for a few weeks to get my butt in gear. Its my Mothers day gift to myself. I kept trying to come up with reasons to justify spending that much on myself and you know what? I am not justiying it! I spend money on toys and restaurants and junk for everyone else and you know what!?!? Now I am spending a ton of money on me and I am not going to feel guilty about it! :) Well, not to guilty!

Sorry about the long post, but I have missed you guys and your support. I hope you are all doing well and are having a great productive day. Tuesdays I always do well, because if I don't, I feel guilty while watching Biggest Loser! lol

Definitely NO GUILT! You would do it for your kids if they needed a special diet, so why not for yourself! Maintaining good health is MORE important than many other things we spend money on.

Stopping home for a few minutes before taking DD2 to an appt. Been feeling like crap most of the day! Had a migraine while cleaning my massage room at work. My boss said I looked like I'd had the crap beat out of me. I went into one of the pedicure rooms and dozed for about 30 minutes. Headache is still there but not as bad. Really wish DH was available for this appt this afternoon but I'll survive. I hope it's gone later so I can work out tonight!

Send me pixie dust that this headache goes away soon! It's draining every ounce of energy from me!

Sending prayers and PD your way to send your headache off to Neverland (as in "never to return").

Tomorrow is back to work for me. With no caffeine. I don't usually have much, but some afternoons I get really sleepy. My echocardiogram was read and everything is normal.:) So now I need to work on the stress. I started doing the "8 minute meditations." Can't say that I am enjoying it, but I'm willing to stick it out. Supposedly if you give it 8 minutes a day for 8 weeks you can learn to meditate. I have planned out our meals for today, tomorrow and Thursday. Friday we will probably eat at the baseball game. They have grilled cheese this year and I add tomato to mine.

Hope everyone is having a great day--making good choices and getting that exercise in.:goodvibes

Glad your echo was fine and normal. You can tackle the stress issue, I'm sure.

Question for everyone- I'm sure this has been asked b4 but has anyone used P90X or Insanity??? Is it worth it? or you feel like you want to die? Thanks...

I've tried a tiny bit of the P90x in the past and thought I would DIE!!! Just couldn't keep up with it at all. It was actually very defeating. I felt like a failure because I thought I was in decent enough shape to at least START it. I suppose if I had kept up with it and kept trying every day, I might have gotten to the point where I could actually keep up with a full workout.... but it was just SO overwhelmingly hard, I didn't feel any desire to continue.

I want to see Disneyland's 100th birthday. Even if it's on tv or online, I want to be there for it.

I LOVE this idea... but I will be a very old lady if I make it that far. I was there for the 50th anniversary (we actually visited that week, but avoided the crazy crowds on the actual anniversary date). If I make it to age 91 with all of my faculties intact, I will DEFINITELY be watching for the 100th festivities!

WOW... a "two" in the tens place is so exciting... although I know you are below your goal. This will give you some wiggle room to enjoy an extra treat at DL!!

So I had my weigh in tonight and lost 2.4 lbs for a total loss of.....99.8 lbs. Yup, as close as I can get to 100 gone without actually being there. Oh well, next week is my 1 year anniversary on ww so I will work on making that goal!

SarahMay

May I just way.... WOW!! Close enough to 100 to start the celebrating!! And here is the BL Chorus Line to help you celebrate! :dance3: Be ready for some cheers and applause next weigh-in, cause you will definitely get it!

Pjlla- hope your dd is doing ok, and I can imagine you're on quite a disney high getting ready for your trip. So excited for you.

Like the disney dreams questions, and think I need to up my dreaming as well.
I want to go on a cruise, and will go for my 50th bday in2014, I'd love to stay deluxe, and I'd love to do an adventures by disney trip out west.

Have a great day.:)

Yup... two more sleeps! The bags are mostly packed, but of course, I am spending every extra minute perseverating on what I might be forgetting. DS doesn't want to carry a fanny pack in the parks, so I am forced to carry a bigger one to fit the camera, ponchos, autograph book, and incidentals (Advil, hand wipes, sunscreen, park tix, money, phones). Other than that all is good. He even agreed to bring back his autograph book from 2008 and finish "filling it up". We stamped all of the already signed pages with a date stamp of April-2008, so we will know which autographs are from which trip. But I love that he said "I guess we could save a little money and just reuse this book." He totally gets me!!

There is rain predicted for Friday and Saturday in Orlando, but hopefully it will just be those quick pop-up afternoon thundershowers and not all-day rain. Sunday and Monday look beautiful.

Wednesday's QOTD: What is ONE thing you could not live without for this challenge? It could be a food, it could be a workout video, a piece of equipment, whatever....just share what is the most important.

I guess my number one thing would be my electronic food scale. I asked for it for my b.day last year and have used it virtually every day since then. Well worth the $50. I lived with a cheapo WW scale for many, many years, but I was bothered by how inaccurate it was. There is NO cheating with this electronic one... it does ounces and grams and I can easily weigh out a half serving of nuts and KNOW that I have it right. Love, love, love it.

Second item (if I can be so bold as to share a second thing) would be my exercise shoes. I own runners, walkers, and cross-trainers (as of last week). I primarily go with the cross-trainers. I have been wearing them for running since January without any problem, but decided to splurge on a pair of runners... and found a perfect pair of Ryka runners for $19.95 (regularly about $65)!!! I also recently bought a pair of the Payless Champion toning walkers (knock-off of the Reeboks). Comfy and light. Not sure that they are doing much for my behind, but I figured they were worth a try. They will be my primary shoes for Disney (I've been breaking them in for about a week now), but I have brought along my cross-trainers as back-ups. I figure as long as I have adequate exercise shoes, I can exercise almost anywhere. No excuses.

Well... I have managed to get through this morning without yet hitting the TM. I am running out of time. I have to be at the middle school for Robotics team meeting at 2:00 and I will need to shower, so I guess I had better get my butt moving! The exercise might have to wait until tonight.

We are having a beautiful day here today. Maybe we can get the team outside for part of the meeting. Seems like a shame to waste a day like today inside a windowless room.

Congrats to Tracy and all of this weeks Biggest Losers! We are definitely going to finish this challenge STRONG!!....................P

Good morning all! :goodvibes

Congratulations to all our superstars and especially to tigger813, our biggest loser! You guys are awesome!

We should all congratulate ourselves for sticking it out and still being here after 17 weeks. Let's do what Bob says and FINISH STRONG! I know we can knock out that 1250 pounds -- but it's a lot harder when we have fewer people. We can do it! :thumbsup2

It's is another day with no telephone or internet at home. I was able to watch BL the night after for the first time in a long time! :lmao: Thanks to all who are volunteering to coach for the summer challenge -- I will PM you with dates when I have the schedule here tomorrow.

So I had my weigh in tonight and lost 2.4 lbs for a total loss of.....99.8 lbs. Yup, as close as I can get to 100 gone without actually being there. Oh well, next week is my 1 year anniversary on ww so I will work on making that goal!

Wow! That is so exciting! I am so happy for you! :flower3:

Yeah! I made the top ten...barely but I made it again. I'm excited - two weeks in a row!:woohoo:

:woohoo: jenn!

pjlla have a wonderful, wonderful time at WDW with your DS!

Wednesday's QOTD: What is ONE thing you could not live without for this challenge? It could be a food, it could be a workout video, a piece of equipment, whatever....just share what is the most important.

, jen. Sorry for the work stress. There is a special place in heaven for teachers! :flower:

I can totally relate to husband's going faster than you feel comfortable with. After almost 17 years, I just gave it up with my DH. I have seen his behind for years now as we go from place to place. :rotfl2: We find other things to do together that don't involve walking or biking. If I grumble about setting an example of how a gentlemen slows his pace to match the lady's he will slow down for awhile but old habits die hard.

The ONE thing that I could not live without for this challenge is ALL OF YOU! Thanks for being here and for helping us all on our journeys to a healthier life! :flower1:

Jen ~ I am so sorry you are having so much school stress. for you. If I had a dime for every time I have yelled at my hubby while on my weight loss journey, I would be super-dooper rich.

Tigger ~ congrats, doll! Way to go!

All the other big losers ~ CONGRATS!

I'm feeling a bit icky today. I think I spent too much time outside in the sun yesterday and I am paying for it today (I ran my 5k then came home and immediately mowed and then fertilized the lawn). Damn Lupus. Part of me wants to stay inside all day and skip working out and the other part of me thinks I should walk on the bike path as far as I can for 30 minutes then turn around and come home. Hubby things I should skip it today. *sigh* I just don't know what to do. I have a slight fever which is a sign that I could have a Lupus Flare. Gah! What to do, what to do?

Wednesday's QOTD: What is ONE thing you could not live without for this challenge? It could be a food, it could be a workout video, a piece of equipment, whatever....just share what is the most important.

I have several: ;)

1 - my hubby, my nutritionist and you all. I get so much support from my hubby. Every single day he tells me I am beautiful and sexy and that I am doing a fantastic job. My nutritionist never thinks any of my "stupid questions" are stupid (although he is getting tired of explaining to me why I have to eat more because I am running more ) and YOU ALL are such an inspiration. I look forward to coming here several times a day.

2 - ww.com and mapmyrun.com. LOVE them both.

3 - my new running shoes that I got for Mother's Day.

So I had my weigh in tonight and lost 2.4 lbs for a total loss of.....99.8 lbs. Yup, as close as I can get to 100 gone without actually being there. Oh well, next week is my 1 year anniversary on ww so I will work on making that goal!

SarahMay

WOW! Do you have some kind of reward set up for yourself?

Pjlla--Yeah I'll be 87, hopefully lucid lol.

Wednesday's QOTD: What is ONE thing you could not live without for this challenge? It could be a food, it could be a workout video, a piece of equipment, whatever....just share what is the most important.

The laptop. so I can lay on my stomach and keep up with this board and on top of everything happening at Disneyland lol. Otherwise I'd kill my back.

Yeah--6 pounds in 4 days--crazy. It's because of my work experiences lately - I pulled almost 2000 in my little dept. on Sunday by myself. That's just at my counter--meat did something like 3000. That's when I told my boss I was never doing that again. It took some bravery for me to do that but she seemed to finally 'get it' and gave me a little card saying how much she appreciated me with $25 in it yesterday, so it made me feel really good. (Yep-- I'm easily bought, especially by cute 'lil blond meat dept. mgr.'s)

I would like to maintain about this weight though until the trip. Think I'll start changing out the clothes, winter to summer this weekend. I'll start packing too--that'll be great motivation.

Is the bodybugg difficult to figure out? I always think that counting calories seems so complicated. Do you have to enter in a bunch of data or is it simple to use?

I've tried a tiny bit of the P90x in the past and thought I would DIE!!! Just couldn't keep up with it at all. It was actually very defeating. I felt like a failure because I thought I was in decent enough shape to at least START it. I suppose if I had kept up with it and kept trying every day, I might have gotten to the point where I could actually keep up with a full workout.... but it was just SO overwhelmingly hard, I didn't feel any desire to continue.

Is this a DVD or part of a gaming system? I read comments about how hard it is but think it would be interesting to try. I know that I have to find something new for my workout.

I tried to tell DH that we should take a break from running together but he will have nothing to do with that. He SWEARS he will slow down and that he is not concerned about time. I do love that this is something we started together and I would like to run with him but I am worried that his pace will just continue to be faster than mine. I enjoy that I have someone to run with and I know he will not run without me so I am hoping we can find a happy medium.

I hope you are taking care of yourself...sounds like you might need to listen to your body and take it easy for a short bit.

I think your hubby is wonderful! That is great that he gives you compliments all the time and I bet it makes you feel like this is all worth it.

Yeah--6 pounds in 4 days--crazy. It's because of my work experiences lately - I pulled almost 2000 in my little dept. on Sunday by myself. That's just at my counter--meat did something like 3000. WOW! 6 pounds in 4 days! That is crazy! Sounds like you are working super hard...I am glad that you got a little reward for all your hard work. I hope that your boss recognizes that you might need a little bit of help in your department.

You're going to start packing now?!? It's not even on my radar yet and you leave only 2 days before I do. You're going to make me feel guilty! :rotfl: We had snow flurries this week so it is hard to get in that summer clothes mode. :rotfl2: I bet you can maintain until the trip. :goodvibes

It's nice that your boss appreciates you! :flower3:

Thanks for the help with the clippie, Lisa! Sometimes I am so comuter illiterate! I finally got it to work!

Back fro shopping with DD1. Got the goodie bag stuff for her party and some other stuff. Bought the Glee soundtrack since I couldn't find Wicked! And I got the Imagineering Field Guide to AK! I want to have them all! Also had to get stuff for the school Basket Raffle that's next week. Getting money from parents so I bought s few more things. It's a great fundraiser and our class has games and puzzles. I'm the room parent so I get to organize that stuff.

Got a little bit of a headache right now. Took the headband off and had some M&Ms. Walked about 2 1/2 miles with Redwalker this morning. Will do 2-3 miles on the elliptical later. Had a mashed potato bowl at KFC with DD1 and a biscuit. Hadn't had much before that and since I'm not eating heavily tonight I should be ok. Need to get drinking my water though. Just finished my one soda for the day.

Time for that water now! And get organized for the rest of the week!

Had to make the clippie smaller so it would all fit!

Jen I think the bodybugg and counting calories is very easy. The WW points drove me a little nuts...I like exact! Math person here. :goodvibes I have built a few of my meals in the bugg, like my homemade pizza, and yes it's a little bit of a pain but once it's in it's done. The ingredients are mostly in the database already. I really like it too on days when I feast...the other day I ate 2500 calories but I burned 2700 so that's okay - bbb (before bodybugg) I would have just eaten again the next day ("oh well I blew it yesterday so what's the point, my stinkin' thinkin' ), know what I mean?

My back is achey! I walked the dogs and just did 50 minutes on walk it out - had to finish that darn rainbow!:yay:

Ann my friend take care of yourself and listen to your body! If your mind is really telling you to get out there just stroll, do NOT push yourself. You know you can do more damage by pushing too hard than taking a day off. Remember (Mom) your fever means your body is fixing itself...help it out!!

1ST- I would like to go into Cinderella's Castle in "the suite" -that is my dream..
anyhow-- yesterday I did a Billy Blank tape-- it hurts today and also 1hour of treadmill...today I did 78 minutes on the tread and weights...would have done the elliptical but DD wasn't feeling good:sick:--couldn't go to the neighbors house :guilty:...but still doing good!

Question for everyone- I'm sure this has been asked b4 but has anyone used P90X or Insanity??? Is it worth it? or you feel like you want to die? Thanks...

My dh used P90X. It is intense and requires a lot of time 6 days each week. You can't pick and choose days and some days requires 1 1/2 hours. It was more of a time committment than I could give and he has had to stop as he is coaching lacrosse and can't fit it into his day every day.

I am so frustrated. I was down to 142.6 on Monday and didn't think that I was totally off plan, but yesterday I was up 4 lbs:mad: How could I have gained 4 lbs in 1 day :confused3 I drank 60 ounces of water yesterday, took Midol (for the diaretic) and was careful with what I ate, but I was still up this morning. I have no idea what happened.:headache:
