Monday QOTD: Tell Us About Your Pets.
We have one 16-yr. old black long hair cat, Worf. We are very fortunate he allows us to live in his home, sleep in his bed, and give him the adulation he clearly deserves.

Love yesterday's qotd and hearing and seeing everyone's pets. 50s Jayne, you are amazing to take in all of those little kitties. They are beautiful.
Pjlla- I laughed when you talked about your daughters guinea pigs. I think we're in the honeymoon phase with ours still.
We have a guinea pig named Fredward. You can call him fred, freddie, anything with fred in it is my son's rule. We got him last winter, when I couldn't take the "can I get a dog?" any more. He's very cute, and we sit him in our laps on a blanket when we watch tv, and I really like him so much more than I expected. He squeaks and squeals when we wake up, or open the fridge wanting some lettuce. Hope the cuteness lasts the 7-8 years of his life expectancy.

He's also a red sox fan.
Thanks lisa for the encouragement yesterday- and you are right. I can do it. I am back on track.
Tigger813- thought of you and did 45 min of wii last night, and thought of you again this morning when I wanted to hit the snooze, but I got up and did 30 min.
Jennz- I hope you are feeling better real soon.
I love the support and inspiration you guys all give to each other and to me. It really does help so much to get back on the right track.
Hang in there everyone and keep up the great work!! We all can do this as long as we don't give up.
Have a great day.![]()
LOVE the GP picture. I just got some that I ordered from Walgreen's to scrapbook for DD. I should post them.... they are "swimming" in the bathtub in the pictures.
The GPs definitely grew on us. But we ended up moving them from DD's room down to the family office mainly because they were making DD's room messy and stinky (she doesn't clean them often enough) and we were concerned that they weren't getting enough attention. At least in the office we are walking by them several times a day and someone (usually me) will stop and check their water, hay, grain, etc. Plus it is easier for me to quickly bring them a handful of veggies when I'm making supper. And I become aware of the stink-factor more quickly and can take care of it.
Jayne.... we had a kitty who started out named "Tofty" but later in life ended up with the name "China", so I love that name! She was unofficially renamed by DB's girlfriend because the kitty was getting older and thinner and it was decided that she was getting fragile, like china. That was her name for the remaining 8-ish years of her life! She lived a good long life... we got her as a kitten in 1976 (yup, I'm old!) and my Mom had her euthanized when she got really sick in about 1994!! My Mom called me at work the day it was happening and we both SOBBED over the phone to each other. Anyhow, just commenting on the name China!!
I'm debating between a workout here at home right now, or a workout at the Y tonight. If I work out here, then I can just drop DD off at the Y and not hang around, which would be a nice change. But then I am wasting some precious home cleaning (and Dising) time. If I wait and workout tonight, at least I can spend more time cleaning DS's room, etc today. Actually, the more I think about it, I think I will hit the treadmill after I am done here and then I don't have to think about exercise for the rest of the day!! The mess in DS's room will wait!!
Well... I don't have anything left to say for today! Pretty shocking for a blabber mouth like me I suppose! Have a great Tuesday everyone!......P
