I just read on Deb's site that Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for rehab from the end of August through November which has me totally bummed for our October trip!! I was so excited that my daughter, age 5, is finally tall enough to go on most of the rides and we kept telling her how much she would love Big Thunder. I guess I can only hope the rehab doesn't go as long as scheduled but I'm sure thats a very dim hope...oh well...lots of other new things for her to try! Just wanted to share my disappointment!

I will be there in 8 days and will ride BTMRR about 3 times so I can miss it in Nov. when I am there again!;) :o

My 5 year old (who is often weary of scary, fast or high rides) said she was going to ride BTMR this trip. I guess she'll have to wait.

Makes me glad we went last Oct... DS would have been very dissapointed if could not go on the Choo-Choo coaster.

What sucks about these rehabs is that you plan your trip for 1 year or more only to find out a few weeks before you leave that one of your favorite rides is going to be closed. Unfortunately, this is the chance you take when booking for the off-season.
