Big-O tires Disneyland promotion

Does anyone know the specifics or has anyone used the Big-O tires promotion where you buy 4 timres and get a trip for 4 to Disneyland? I can find very few details about it online and have only found a couple discussions about it. People talking about it didnt seem very enthused about it. It sounded like they got 2 nights at some motel quite a ways from Disneyland and only got some disount tickets for the park that werent anything special. For the most part they didnt seem to think it was worth it at all. And how do you advertise it as a Disneyland trip for 4 when its just 2 nights at a hotel thats not even close to Disneyland?



Just curious if anyone has done this or taken the time to find out the actual specifics.

It's nothin' special ~ I called last week. 2 nights at a hotel that's it ~ you could also stay in San Diego, Vegas and some other place but again only 2 nights. No park tix, no airfare, just 2 nights at a hotel *I'm guessing not the greatest hotels either.

That sounds pretty worthless. It also sounds like false advertising.


They are advertising it as a trip for 4 to Disneyland. It would be more accurate to advertise it as a two night stay in one of a few different cities. If the above post is accurate, it is in fact a promotion that has nothing to do with Disneyland whatsoever. I would be angry if I were Disney and had a company that was using my name to boost their business in such a fraudulent manner.

Wow, I almost passed out when I saw this thread -- we just purchased 4 new tires from Discount Tire on Friday. I am glad to hear that it doesn't sound like I am missing out on much!
