BIG change to FP+ today

What ride has the best queue between Test Track and Soaring? It appears we will be waiting for one or the other because we wont be arriving until afternoon. Which one will time go by faster in? (so to speak). Thanks!

Do Test Track using the single rider line and save Soarin for just before the park closes. If it closes at 9 pm, get in line at 8:55.

good idea we do that because there will be no more fast pass people coming in and the line will move very fast.

Test Track has a lot to do in the que!

You can basically walk on Test Track & Mission space @ closing

Mission Space never has much of a wait time during most times.

You don't get to design your own car if you do FP on text track, so if you are only getting to ride it once-use FP for soarin (which is a boring wait in a plain hallway). We normally like to do standby once for the car designing etc... And then FP just for the ride aspect.

Yep! We did. We rode it 3 times in June. Once SB and twice with FP. We got to design a car each time. It is one of my DS's favorite rides.

If they let everyone know what they were doing and when a lot of people would probably delay their trips and they couldn't get the info they want so everyone going will be a lab rat(whether you opt in or out) until they roll it out.

the vast vast majority of the visitors to WDW have never looked at any of these forums/blogs/info sites. Most dont even know about MDE and FP+ even if they have booked on the disney website and they dont even email everyone to tell them.

FP- has been around for like a decade or something yet still you can hear all the time people waiting in line not understanding how THAT works and thinking it's like six flags or universal and requires a payment.

So Disney could post a webpage with the "rules of the day" and even add a note on it with a code for 25 free FP+ and still the vast majority wouldn't know about it. The few that would find it AND be offended enough to change their plans would be replaced by 10 people right behind them.

there's no grand conspiracy to hide things- just the normal disney IT incompetence.

I can see them doing that but isn't that kind of elitist? More for the haves and less for the have nots. That is especially troubling considering every one had the same chance to pull fastpasses under the old system. Sure some got more than others because they learned how to use the system to their advantage, but everyone had the same ability to do just that.

Imagine that... getting what you pay for.

I suggest you go to ASM next time and demand a room at GF and see how that goes over. Or demand a seat in first class when you booked and paid for coach.

Alright, so I booked our Epcot FP+ before they tiered it. Now I find out the DVC merry mixer is there as well. If I try to change the time on my one FP will I lose everything.

I think she meant that the Merry mixer is at Epcot and because of the time it is at she has to switch her fastpasses around.
