Big Brother anyone?

I'm embarassed to admit sometimes that I am a Big Brother fan. Season 8 started last night and the "twist" is about pairs who are "enemies."

As usual, the house will be full of pretty people. Here's to a lot of cheese with their whining.

Oh, and Julie Chen... you are supposed to tease your hair, not make it angry!

OMG. I am so with you on Julie Chen...what was she thinking?

I sort of like the enemy houseguest twist, and the "America's" Houseguest thing. The estranged father...makes you curious what their rift is about. And the ex-lovers...so stereotypical as to be comical. Between those tow, I think I actually like Dustin better, so far. That could change. I didn't watch BB last year, but I might like it this year.

I haven't watched any of the Jericho series, the premiere episode reruns tonight, so I may wtch to see if I like it.

I finally got through the first episode. Ever since we got our first DVR (aka TiVo) we haven't watched live TV. My world is at least 60 minutes delayed, so we can skip commercials.

Anyway, there are two gay men - a pair of the rivals. Joe is 23 and a receptionist at a children's hair salon. Dustin is 22 and shoe salesman. A bit stereo-typically flaming queeney for my taste, but did make for some interesting television.

When Julie announced the 'rivals' were in the house, Joe announces he expects it to be Dustin. And without taking a breath announces Dustin gave him a STD!

Obviously Dustin was livid. We don't quite know the truth on that one yet.

Anyway, these two will make this year's season a lot more interesting.

The two exes and such sterotypes, but fun to watch. So, Dustin gave Joe a STD? Dustin states that Joe has the biggest nipples (which is think was true with the one flash you got with a shirtless Joe). The two girls that are "enemies" becase one owed the other 5 dollars since they were 14 or something like that. I think producers could have done better, although I thought it was funny that the blonde reminded be of Sharpai from High School Musical!

I usually watch the first episode of Big Brother and so far that has been it . I will check out the next couple of episodes with this season.
