Big Brother 5 OFFICIAL THREAD!!!!!!

All I know is that there is no way Diane will win! Noone in the jury will vote for her! :teeth:

I think I am only going to miss the last show and hopefully my dh friend will tape it for us. This disney vacation is during all the new shows for the season. Last year I was in Disney during the last show of Temptation Island and Hubby and I were running back to the room to watch it. Shows how sad we are.

From who is left, I think I'd like to see Nak or CB win, really, Drew is nice, but he is aligned with Diane whom I'm not crazy about...so either of those 2 would be good...really I'm leaning more toward Nak for winner and CB for second.

Any thoughts on Drew being sincere with CB? or just using him? I kinda think he will figure he'd rather be standing next to Diane in a final 2 showdown, cause she isn't so well liked.

This year has been boring to some extent...I've not felt as compelled..LOL...to run to jokers or whatever to see what is going on....I think it needed more drama...at least Scott and Jase added that...even though we all didn't like them:p

And Marvin's comment...Hey Will, get me a drink. Adria saying, we don't work here.

I thought someone new is coming into your house and you do what it takes to make them feel comfortable. Get the man a drink.

Heck no!

It wasn't "their house"..it was a house they were staying in. Marvin could get his own dang drink! Besides, I don't think I'd be fawning over someone who voted me out of a game just yet...it's still gotta hurt some...you know?

I dunno about the champagne toast thing...but I thought I heard Natalie say when showing Adria the table "this is where we are served our meals". So maybe there is a "wait staff" to go along with that house...

Yup, I heard that too. I think they are being "pampered" in this house!!

Luxury comp:
<table bgcolor = black><Tr><Td>is underway right now. They are trashing each other's clothes. (Remember, they did this last year.) At the end, they will be rewarded with a shopping spree.</tr></table>

Guess BB didn't get any sponsers this year. Remember all the food they used to get? Subway, Burger King, McDonalds, etc. They used to always get a nice meal after an eviction. Each person on the block choose a meal. The meal choice of the one that stayed was served.

<table bgcolor = black><Tr><Td>Yeah - but no one is wearing anything 'annoying' this year! It's not like Scott/Jase are still there with the gross "mandanas" or nasty shorts...or Justin from last year who wore the SAME SHORTS for like 18 days in a row. What would they "burn/destory?" And with their only being 4 left - seems kinda late in the game to do that - was it always when there were 4 left?</tr></table>

yeah - I remember them getting "special" meals in the past - subway/mcd's/etc... I think they've been VERY easy on them food-wise this year...not many PBJ weeks recently at all.

Am I the only one who thinks Drew was stupid to win HOH?

If he puts up Cowboy and Nic, then Diane gets to vote. She may feel there is a possibility that Drew will remain loyal to a horseman, so she will evict Cowboy.

Likewise if he puts up Diane and Nic, Cowboy has a motive for getting rid of Diane.

By winning, he has completely given up control of who stays or goes.

Or am I missing something?

I thought he looked very unhappy last night. HE is in a real predicament. If he puts up Nik and CB and Nik wins POV, she will save herself and put Dianne up. I think taking Dianne to the end is the best thought because she has backstabbed quite a few people and I don't think anyone would vote for her. But who should win????? Out of the 3 I think Nik has played a pretty good game, getting rid of Jase when Dianne should have and didn't. The pinky swear thing doens't bother me, the twins swore and then broke their word. Yes Nik did put CB up when she said she wouldn't, but it was strategy. She knew he was safe.

POV winner:

<table bgcolor = black><Tr><Td>CB won POV. Ahah, the perfect winner in my eyes. Will he follow through with the "plan" to evict Nak? Will he "backstab" to evict Di? One thing CB has always been in this game, is true to his word. So, on Tues, I think we'll be waving a fond farewell to Nak....Will he get his long desired wish to finally win HOH?</tr></table>

Reminder, 3 shows left.

Tues, next guest evicted

Fri, NY/CT folks, it's in the middle of the night yet AGAIN....

Tue, 9/21 final show

Does anyone know for sure it's a "diamond veto" this week? Doe sthat mean the veto holder chooses who goes up, adn the HOH is vulnerable, too? Otherwise, it wouldn't make much sense--say, Nik and Diane are on the block, Cowboy would have no use for the veto unless he could (not saying he would!) put Drew up. As it is, he would be the only vote.

I was wondering the same thing! Anyone know how it works??

Did someone say there is a show on Friday? I guess I missed that announcement. I really really can't wait until Tuesday....I hope Nakomis wins POV!!!!!! She is the only one I would like to see win at this point.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I think Drew won the HOH because he knew that the HOH was the only real "safe" person this week and didn't want to take chances. What I don't understand is why he and diane spent so much time debating who to put up. Can you say "irrelevant" folks. If I were Drew, i would have put the names in a hat and pulled them out. it doesnt' matter whether he nominated diane or cowboy all that matters is who wins veto. Unless Drew wins the veto, the person who gets veto is the one that gets decide who leaves. If Drew gets veto, he can then make the decision )because he is allowed to veto his own nominations right?) but why aggrevate diane when he didn't have to?

From what I've read on other sites - they are calling it a gold veto not diamond this year and before it was called diamond only because it was the last one.

correct - I was confused about this too...whoever wins this POV, takes someone off the block, only to put themselves back up. pretty stupid if you ask me. only works if the person ON the block wins. (i know who won it - but I won't spoil it)

OR - if the winner of the POV makes a deal with one of the nominees...takes them off the block, and has them vote the OTHER person out. That could work too I guess...

From Mortys (no spoilers):
"The Diamond PoV challenge to be held today. To answer the question that always comes up: The Diamond PoV has no more power than the Golden PoV. It's called the Diamond PoV because it's the last veto of the game. If this is like previous seasons, this challenge will be played at night.
....
: I referred to the PoV yesterday as "Diamond," a term from BB5. Drew and Diane refer to the PoV as "golden.""

so who knows what it is...
