BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

Why bother having the Battle Back if the houseguests can prevent the returning player from coming back in? Of course they are going to vote no, why would they vote yes to someone they evicted.

I really wished Jason would have voted to evict Rames, making the vote 6 - 4. At least that would have caused some drama. You could tell Paul was upset with the 7 - 3 vote, 6 - 4 would have been even better to get things going. As much as Cody is a psycho, he did bring tension to the game, some excitement. I think the house will be boring now since everyone is basically happy to give Paul the game.

I have not watched yet as its a few hours away ... but from what I understand with the 'battle back' is that BB generally allows those that made it to JURY to play.

Just watching now .... looks like Cody, Jillian, Cameron and whoever is evicted next week gets to 'Battle Back' into the House.

I think America should get 1 vo
KNEW IT!!!! ( See my post above)

Somehow Paul has been clued in on the battle back and he doesn't want Cody to battle back. That's my theory.

Why would it matter? It's not like you get special powers after winning a battle back. Whether they vote him out now and he wins his way back, or they vote him out in 1 week, I don't see why it matters.

Cause if he wins back in he may be tough to get out again....win HoH or PoV or gets the temptations thing. Of course if they waited until next week the same could happen.

Did they say that next week's evictee is also in Battle Back?

Yes, she did say that.

My guess is that Cody wins and the house lets him back in..dumb, dumb, dumb.

Cody almost seemed human while talking to Julie. Too bad he doesn't act that way in the house.

I figure he will be the one that comes back but stranger things have happened. I SERIOUSLY doubt the houseguests will just get a vote whether the winner gets to come back in or not. I figure it will be a comp or something. Otherwise it would be senseless.

I think they said next week is the last week for the Den of Temptation or did I hear that wrong?

@Tasha228 No, I heard that too. That was short lived...thankfully!
The temptations and penalties were so uneven. Nominate yourself or hop around the house for a week. Three weeks of safety is ridiculous - no matter who received the temptation but having super obnoxious Paul safe in the house made it unbearable.

Okay, so I taped the show and have not watched it all - but did watch the vote out. For the life of me we cannot understand why Christmas didn't vote for Cody! I thought she hated him for putting her up and she was on Paul's side. My jaw dropped when she voted for Ramses. These people flip flop so much it's hard to keep up!

I think Cody was a very mean dark force in that house and bullied too many people. He acted like he was king of the house from day one. I really hope he doesn't get back -- but out of the two he will be playing against, it's a cinch he'll probably win. They usually wait until there are more outed contestants for this -- wondering if they are rushing it because they are down a guest (or two if Christmas doesn't come back).

I think they want to get it done before jury and also Cameron has been holed up in sequester for almost a month now...it would be nice to let him back in the house or cut him loose at some point.

If it's any kind of physical comp odds are that Cody will leave those 2 in the dust. The only hope for probably Cameron, as I don't think Jillian is too bright, is for it to be a mental comp, but then again I don't think Cody is dumb, but I think Cameron is suppose to really smart. I do think it will be a waste if they do a battle back just for the house to say no.

Why are they giving the house the chance to deny them entry? Have they done it that way in the past? I guess if they play a comp and he doesn't get head of household, they can put him right back out :confused3 I just think the whole scenario is a waste of viewer's time!

I agree, it's a stupid premise. What I would say though is what happens if Jessica wins HOH and evicts Paul. Paul is friends with most of the house (it seems) so they would likely elect to take him back. Cody not so much. Cameron, they might feel bad for the way his game went and welcome him back with open arms. I just think it depends on who wins.

I wonder if it will be tied to the den of temptation. If the "winner" takes the halting hex, a new houseguest will be back in the house as the consequence.

Didn't think about that. But then that's not technically giving "the house the choice." It's giving the person tempted the choice.
