BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

Jason deserved any screaming match he got -- he bold-face lied to both Matt and Raven, and his other previous vocal antics have made him a hot mess in the eyes of many. He's a walking contradiction of beliefs and morals and I was thrilled to FINALLY see someone verbally take him down for all the crap he has slung [yes, so has everyone else -- but at least one of these losers got put in their place]
Whether Jason deserved to be yelled at or not doesn't change my opinion on Matt being a lazy man who thought he'd just coast to the finale. It also doesn't change my mind that he will probably still be all about Raven even out of the house. I wonder if Matt's having a little temper tantrum would be defended by you if he had acted that way toward someone other than Jason because I know you despise Jason. Not starting an argument. Just pointing out that my post actually wasn't about Jason all that much, it was just an aside to my feelings about Matt. He was a worthless player and I think he and Raven deserve each other...whether we throw Jason into the equation or not. Matt was a disappointing player. He looked like he could have so much potential but it turned out he had none.

Got it, and Matt is/was coasting to the end -- as almost all of them have done and only move or react when Paul tells them to. Raven, Matt, Mark, Elena, Josh and Kevin are the biggest group of floaters I've seen in recent years. If I am remember right, only Josh has won anything in that group. I too thought Matt had a huge chance of playing and getting to the end when I first saw him come in and was also disappointed that he did zero (except eat all the cereal). And I would have had no problem with him screaming at another player if there were a good reason to -- Jason angered him and he (finally) stood up and said something. It's a shame he didn't make moves like that earlier against other players, maybe he'd still be there.

Yes, I despise the fact that Jason has had three incidents of "joking" about assaulting people (including seniors), and Alex went along and laughed even though she had a relative who was attacked. I also despise her and hope she is the next one to go. I myself have a family member who was assaulted, so I don't find any humor or necessity for that type of humor, but then again this house has been the most despicable and calculating and mean house I've ever seen on this show.

Agreed! I told dh the other night this is the worst cast I remember on the show. There is always that 1 player I can't stand but this year it is most of the cast! And if you have even an ounce of decency or backbone to you, you can bet you are on the list to be the next to be evicted.

You got it. My DH and I don't remember a season where there was such a stuck together group of so many members -- usually there are groups that form their own unions and plans -- but this one is one giant snowball (or in the words of Josh -- one giant meatball)!

It will be interesting to see if Josh is told about the hurricane. As most of you know he lives in Miami which is being evacuated as we speak. I imagine CBS is in touch with them and as long as they are safe will not tell Josh anything about it. The only time they told houseguests what was going on was during 9/11 and that's because one of the contestants nieces' was missing and presumed dead. I do think with 9/11 they would have told them anyway as it was such a big event that affected the whole world.

I do hope Josh's family is safe and for any of you on this thread that live in Florida stay safe. We were suppose to be going down there tomorrow and leaving Monday. We decided to cancel the trip since Irma is suppose to be hitting Monday and our flight will most certainly be canceled and we just cannot extend the trip with work and other commitments.

I was thinking about Josh and the hurricane just last night, also. I think he should be told both before it strikes and then give him an update afterwards. I don't see how it could affect the outcome of the show.

I think you were wise in cancelling your trip DisneyLover1217. I have many friends in Orlando so I am a bit worried. If anyone here is in the path of Irma please stay safe.

I'm in Ft Lauderdale, we are finishing up last tasks. 9 cases of water in garage our tanks are full, propane full took furniture off the patio downstairs. Tomorrow we have to empty the patio off our master bedroom. We have impact glass so we don't have to deal with shutters anymore. My husband and son in law are both in law enforcement, so most likely they will leave us Friday night (this is the hardest part) It will be me, my daughter her 2 kids, my son and his wife holding down the fort here.
This storm has me very nervous, I usually don't panic, but this one is scary. My 9 year old grandson is very nervous and that makes me feel worse.

Oh man. I'm sorry. I will add you to my prayers. It does sound like you have everything well thought out. Sending hugs to you.

I cannot believe Jason doesn't think he is going home and Kevin doesn't think he is staying. I just cannot believe they do not see things right in front of their face.

I know. Part of me is wondering if Kevin really is the one going and production helped them craft this week to stun us when Kevin goes. Josh's final words on maybe flipping things to do as he wants and not what Paul wants....may be the set up for Kevin being evicted. But I'd think Paul is aware. All just scripted.

The show always does that to try to throw you off. Jason is going, unless he manages to convince Paul to keep him, doubt that will happen.
