BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

I'm in Ft Lauderdale, we are finishing up last tasks. 9 cases of water in garage our tanks are full, propane full took furniture off the patio downstairs. Tomorrow we have to empty the patio off our master bedroom. We have impact glass so we don't have to deal with shutters anymore. My husband and son in law are both in law enforcement, so most likely they will leave us Friday night (this is the hardest part) It will be me, my daughter her 2 kids, my son and his wife holding down the fort here.
This storm has me very nervous, I usually don't panic, but this one is scary. My 9 year old grandson is very nervous and that makes me feel worse.
Stay safe! Wishing you all the best!

I was thinking about Josh and the hurricane just last night, also. I think he should be told both before it strikes and then give him an update afterwards. I don't see how it could affect the outcome of the show.

I think you were wise in cancelling your trip DisneyLover1217. I have many friends in Orlando so I am a bit worried. If anyone here is in the path of Irma please stay safe.

I would be okay with him being told about it on the condition that he's not allowed to mention it to any other contestant (especially in the case where his family is hurt or has property damaged because of the hurricane). That could potentially be used to garner sympathy votes should he make it to F2 and if its one thing I hate, it's when reality show contestants use personal tragedies to garner sympathy votes.

I hope our local news doesn't pre-empt the show tonight with hurricane coverage........
You guys may need to give me minute by minute updates.
All the stations are droning on for hours on end. :sad2:

It will be interesting to see if Josh is told about the hurricane. As most of you know he lives in Miami which is being evacuated as we speak. I imagine CBS is in touch with them and as long as they are safe will not tell Josh anything about it. The only time they told houseguests what was going on was during 9/11 and that's because one of the contestants nieces' was missing and presumed dead. I do think with 9/11 they would have told them anyway as it was such a big event that affected the whole world.

I do hope Josh's family is safe and for any of you on this thread that live in Florida stay safe. We were suppose to be going down there tomorrow and leaving Monday. We decided to cancel the trip since Irma is suppose to be hitting Monday and our flight will most certainly be canceled and we just cannot extend the trip with work and other commitments.

Sequestered or not, I personally don't think CBS has the right to keep such important events from the houseguests. I thought they even took too long to tell them about 9/11. They should get an update on Josh's family and maybe take him aside and let him know the status.

Prayers and good thoughts for you and your family! I lived through these when I was a child in Miami -- I know how frightening they can be.

I know. Part of me is wondering if Kevin really is the one going and production helped them craft this week to stun us when Kevin goes. Josh's final words on maybe flipping things to do as he wants and not what Paul wants....may be the set up for Kevin being evicted. But I'd think Paul is aware. All just scripted.

I wish wish wish (pleeeeeze) that Josh and Kevin stick to their words and stop doing what Paul tells them! Kevin's comment that he will never have anyone tell him to lose again may be a little too late -- but it was very interesting to see
Josh's coming to realize that he's tired of Paul directing everyone. If he makes a move, it would be the first time in the whole game he stepped up.

We shall see.

Oh Andrew (shudder), I had a 4 yr old on one side of me and a 2 month old on the other, nerve racking. My husband of course stuck at work for days.

Eviction two, tonight, should be good. Josh should be worried since all the pairs are getting broken up. He thinks they don't know about him and Xmas but Paul knows and Paul is running the show.

I wish Christmas would go tonight, she thinks if she sticks with Paul she will win....... delusional.

Isn't Jason and Kevin on the block right now? Or is tonight a double eviction?

I don't think Josh is smart enough to figure all this out on his own.
