when the show first started it was about 4 nerds who couldn't find girls. Now it like the show has taken a turn around, now it about guys who now have girlfriend/wife issues. Seems like it's getting away from the core of the show.

Seems they're going with the changes in the geek lifestyle. Used to be that geeks didn't get women, lived with their parents, etc. Now geek are dating, married, even having kids. So why not the geeks on this show following this trend?
The way they write Raj does make one wonder if he's bi. Sure he's been with women (usually after having had some alcohol first) but he's been flirty with guys like Howard and Stu.
Glad that Howard has gotten past that sleazy part of his character.
I think it would be a great storyline to have the nerds, especially Sheldon, work through their acceptance of their good friends' sexuality and welcome Stu into their tight circle as Raj's partner.
Amy Farrah Fowler, as a neuro scientist (in character and in real life) could come up with all sorts of nerd scientific fact!
