Have not been to either and looking for something new and fun to try for our next trip.... These made the list

I know they are different in terms of buffet/menu and both have some sort of entertainment. Which one do you think has better food? And if you have kids which one did they enjoy more?

Thanks so much for any info! ;)

Both are fun for kids....biergarten has an oompa band, and a fun atmosphere with communal tables. Raglan road have irish step dancers. I personally prefer Raglan Road. I thought the food at biergarten was good, but not outstanding. I prefer the menu at raglan. :thumbsup2

My entire family LOVES Raglan Road. If you go while they have the dancers, they will take kids up on stage and have them dance with them. Great fun!

I love both and each is a must do for my family. But, imo Raglan road has better food. Whichever you choose you will have a great time the music and dancing are so fun!

That is a tough one, love them both. Slight nod to Biergarten as that German goodness is hard to find in a restaurant.

seems like a pretty even split... not making the decision any easier lol ??

We do both. They both have expectingly delicious food with authentic atmosphere plus fun and lively music.
If I had to pick I'd consider convenience and location, but otherwise I'd toss a coin...or squeeze them both in and be double happy!
Have a great time!

:goodvibes

It would probably be a coin toss for us too. We love eating at both places (and will be again next month!). If I had to just pick one, though, I would have to give the edge to Raglan Road- I prefer TS over a buffet. Their flights are great. All of the food we've had has been delicious- and I swear they have the best bread pudding in all of WDW. And there is a bit more variety to the entertainment.

Loved raglan road, I had the not a chowder and it was great. Unfortunately dd had gotten heat sickness at hs that day, and just before food came on her dads bday dinner poor thing threw up in the restaurant right by the front near people eating. She was hysterical and embarrassed, it was so heartbreaking. Have to say they were so kind, cleaned it ASAP, and acted like it wasn't a big deal. So thumbs up for the staff...hope they comped the poor couple who probably had dinner ruined....

I was trying to decide between these two restaurants as well! I decided to try both :)

Don't like Raglan Road at all – I spend a lot of time in Irish pubs in the US and Ireland - there are far better Irish pubs in most places in the US IMO – even the staff at RR have recommended other Irish pubs in the area to me

Biergarten has decent German food, the show is nice and they have the 1 litre beers - it is also in Epcot and for me that is plus. I'd much rather walk around Epcot after dinner than DTD. The only thing is know you may be seated with other people at a shared table - and that is not for everyone

I agree with you on this...I also prefer TS over a buffet. In general I noticed its because the food is usually subpar at buffets and better quality at TS.
