Biergarten lunch vs dinner

That's a tough one. Depending on how many days you have and plan to spend at Epcot for F&W, it would be tough to try to eat around the world AND justify a meal at Biergarten. As a buffet, I tend to want to get maximum "bang for my buck," which wouldn't leave much room for food kiosks around F&W. There's a lot of good food at F&W. As much as I enjoy Biergarten, I would be inclined to skip it and enjoy F&W, especially if you are only planning to spend on evening at F&W. Maybe let your boyfriend get an extra brat at the Germany F&W kiosk for his troubles!

Thats what I've been trying to tell him! However it took me YEARS to turn him onto WDW vacations and I want to make him happy. We are doing 5 days with park hoppers with 3 full days in epcot so I might make the reservation on one of the later half days in the week that way if he changes his mind we can cancel. hopefully once the full menus are out he will want to change his mind. He's a fickle one!

We have done F&W twice. The first time we had three days to play with, and we felt like three days was a good timeframe over which to spread F&W but still have the option to eat an actual meal somewhere. It was our first kidless trip (they still haven't forgiven us), so we still wanted to have some "dinner date" time. The second time we did F&W, we basically just had one day, so the thought of an extra "real" meal was out of the question, and with kids in town that time, we made our way around the world and pretty much got a taste of everything that interested us (easier to "get a taste" but not much more, when there are two adults and two tweens sampling the same dish...but that makes it easier to try more things in a shorter amount of time without filling up as quickly).

If you are doing three days, I'd go ahead and give him his Biergarten. You both leave happy!
