Sorry to hear the princess was sick over the holidays, happy to hear she's back to her happy self!

our holidays were good, hard but good since this was our first without my DH.... we got to go to CA to visit our friends last week, though Megan got a tummy bug NYE so that sucked!

I just have to say Chelsea's got the most adorable face -- what a sweetie. And Fuller's just such an awesome big brother. This is my first experience w/the Big Give -- it's been so cool seeing all the wonderful generosity that people have!!

Our presents will come soon . . . . almost done w/them (I hope anyhow -- Krysten & I keep thinking of things we should include . . . )

Love the pictures! My son had several months of fevers and general illnesses before his Wilms Tumor was found, so I know what you mean about getting nervous when the sickies start coming! Hope Monday goes by quickly with very little anxiety for you

Yesterday we received two boxes delivered to our door by the mailman in the afternoon. The kids were really excited to have the boxes arrive but not so excited when I explained to them that we had to wait until Papa came home from work to open them up. What seemed like an eternity to them later we got to open the boxes.

Here are the kids with one of the boxes...they were so excited to get it open but did humor me by posing for this picture.

Imagine pictures of opening the box here if the setting on my camera did not cause some sort of weird lines on the pictures. Inside the box were the cutest, fuzziest, coolest blankets just perfect for the kids.

To quote the kids...Fuller "This blanket is just for me it says Fuller and has MY Woody and MY Buzz" Chelsea "It's MY Jessieeeeeeeeeee!" They love the blankets were so excited later that night to get on their pj's so they could cuddle on the sofa for books under the blankets. So into their jammies and under their blankets they went.

Both of the kids ready for bedtime books on the sofa...don't they just look all happy and snuggly (a word I am pretty sure I just made up)!

They have been sleeping with them, snuggling on the sofa for some football watching and just adoring them. They have already figured out that they fit nicely in their backpacks so I think we will take them with us in hopes a nap on the plane will happen. Thanks again so much for your thoughtfulness!

So as I mentioned in my previous post on Friday we got two boxes and the kids were so excited to open them but we had to wait until Papa got home. There was so much anticipation...they once again could hardly let me take a picture with the box.

I think I got busy here helping them open the box and plastic bags in it so no pictures of that...I have to admit we all got pretty excited when we saw what was in the box and for a few moments I totally forgot about the camera!

The shirts are so cute and loved. There were shirts for the whole family. We had the camera take a timer shot so it is not the best but you get the idea...here we all are in our Chelsea's Wish Trip Shirts.

After we put them on no one wanted to take them off so we played for the rest of the night in them. Here is Chelsea hanging out.

There were also two other shirts in the box one especially for me, with my favorite Snow White, and one for my husband with a favorite of his Jedi Mickey. We let the kids take some pictures of us...did not turn out (they tend to push the button and not wait until it takes the picture before moving so they are blurs of color)so I just have a picture of the shirts. Stay tuned for the trip report and you will see pictures of them in action on our trip...they are so cool!

Thank you Chiara (Dis:cogero) for the amazing shirts for our family. We love them and had fun wearing them around the house and can't wait to wear them on our trip. I am beginning to think it will not be easy to keep them from wearing the shirts everyday from now until the trip! Thanks again for the very special shirts...We love them!
