Bibbiti Bobbiti - Our Boo gets a MAW Trip to meet the Princesses Feb 1-7

Congrats on your trip! I'm so glad to hear your dd is doing so well. Both of your kiddos are adorable, I loved their Halloween costumes!!

You have a beautiful family! Your daughter is quite the little fighter! So happy she is getting a trip!! I am going to follow your journey!:goodvibes

Your family is gorgeous! :cutie: I am tearing up as I looked at all of these pictures. My daughter (an MAW kid too) has been battling a life-threatening brain malformation for 3 years now (she was diagnosed on her 1st birthday). We live in Northern IL and have to travel back and forth to NYC for Haylie's surgeries. My older daughter stays with family while my hubby and I are away, so I know how hard it can be on the sibling as well as the sick child. My heart breaks every time we have to leave my other daughter. Just seeing the smile on Fuller's face in all of your pictures shows that he is so happy that his family is back together, something I hope I will see in my older child's face one day. I am so happy that your family gets to enjoy a once in a lifetime trip like this and can't wait to see pics. Our dates are Feb. 20-26th. We can't wait.

I will be praying for this monster to stay out of your baby girls' body! :yay:

I just found your PTR and I cant wait to here how the final plans fall into place... Your family is beautiful. I look forward to reading all about your trip..... :)
Thanks so much...I have been working on some planning and need to post an update as we have lots of fun things on the itinerary. Looking forward to reading all about your trip plans too!

Congrats on your trip! I'm so glad to hear your dd is doing so well. Both of your kiddos are adorable, I loved their Halloween costumes!!
Thank you! I was so happy they were willing to dress up coordinated again. We have a bit of a tradition going. They have been Mickey and Minnie, Woody and Jessie, then of coarse this year Peter Pan and Tink. Next year they are thinking Prince Charming and Cinderella but we will see.:)

I have been having fun watching your trip planning and the big give. You have a beautiful family!

Awwwww Thanks! She is quite a fighter and on her more stubborn days I remind myself how thankful I am for her strong spirit!

Your prayers are very appreciated! I visited your PTR and your girls are beautiful and Haylie sure is a beautiful strong girl! It is so hard on the siblings which is one great thing about the MAW trip is that the whole family can participate and just enjoy being together! Fuller loves having our family together and tells me often that he sleeps better when we are under one roof...pretty heavy stuff for a five year old. He loves his Bitty (that's what we call Chelsea). They are so excited to go to Disney and so am I!

We have had lots of news from MAW the last few weeks so once again the excitement level is up, up, up! Our first bit of news is that we have flights booked. We are leaving on Tuesday Feb 1 basically in the middle of the night (our ride to the airport will be at our house around 3 AM) and we will arrive in the evening at Orlando. Traveling from the West Coast is going to be a l-o-n-g day of flying. I am hoping the kids will nap at least a little bit but I might be kidding myself.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

In other news we are probably going to extend our trip!!!:cheer2::cheer2: It seems like compared to other MAW chapters it is a bit different but then again all the chapters seem to have some different rules so we are just going with it. At first we were told we could not extend our trip at all but then after some further discussion we are kind of in a you can stay longer but...situation. Our wonderful MAW chapter has told us they can't book the flight with later return date but once we have our info they don't want to know/hear about it but they won't be upset if we change the return. So our current plan is to do so. I have double checked to make sure this will not make anyone upset and have been told it won't but once again they really don't want to know anything about it. If anyone else out there has had this be there experience I would love to hear about it and how it worked for your family.

So what is our plan you might wonder...Enjoy our magical MAW trip at GKTW then meet up with my parents and stay at Disney World for 4 additional nights (Thanks for the extra lovely treat mom and dad). Then my icing on the cake part of the trip...we get to go visit my aunt D and uncle R who I have not seen in 10 long years. I love them so much and I can't wait to see them. They don't travel much anymore and while Chelsea was in treatment my aunt was at her church every day praying for her. I am so excited to introduce them to my kids and have a chance for everyone to get to know each other. I get teary eyed just thinking about it...Yeah!

I will leave you with one last magical piece of Disney planning news...MAW also has planned lunch for us at CRT!!! I am going to keep it a surprise from the kids but I am pretty sure they are going to be so excited to visit the castle. They will be in Princess heaven!

Enough news for now...coming soon a bit of an itinerary and some cool ADR's (once again thanks for the lovely treat mom and dad).

So now just a little over two months just has to fly by....:)

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad you heard from MAW. Congrats on getting flight times. Wow! that is a early flight though. We are hoping to get our flight times soon. I don't think you should feel bad about extending your vacation. We are by 4 days. They just asked us if we wanted too. We want to see the beach and go to Bush Gardens. The kids will be so excited to eat at CRT. Hoping we can do a Character lunch too. Just need to see if we have the funds.

I thought I responded to this but I guess I didn't?:confused3

Hurray for dates!!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

That does sound like a long day of flying. I hope the kids can stay entertained on the plane. Do you have a portable DVD player? The prices have come down and they make splitters so 2 people can listen on headphones.

AWESOME!!!!! I think extending by a few days would be great considering the long first day of travel! Our MAW didn't allow us to extend. Where in Disney are you thinking of staying? Yay for your parents! :yay:

This is great!!!!!! I wonder if you can book the BBB before hand and get Chelsea all dolled up?

So now just a little over two months just has to fly by....:)
Don't worry, it will come faster than you think, especially with the holidays coming up. :goodvibes

Just want to tell you what a beautiful family your have! So happy you are going to experience WDW, you'll love it! Can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Thanks for stopping by...I think you are the first person that I have "met" on here that is from the NW. If you have been getting all the rain we have I hope you have been able to stay dry!

Beautful family! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much. I visited the link on your signature from your cruise TR. It looks so nice. Maybe after this trip I will have to start saving for a cruise! Thanks for stopping by!

So we are under the two month mark which seems exciting and scary all at the same time. I thought I would take a minute to start an itinerary and get some plans really started. My goal is to have a plan in place to eat once a day at the parks and have three to four things that are on our must do list...from there anything else will be some extra pixie dust! I realize that may not seem like getting too much covered but I have a 3 and 5 year old and I learned a long time ago family activities are only fun as long as they are having fun and you never really know on a given day how long that will be. I don't want to plan lots of things and be stressed about getting them done. When I first started reading about Disneyworld, Universal and Seaworld I could not believe how much there was to do and I thought how will we do it all. Then somewhere in reading I found an easy answer...we won't see everything and these parks are not going anywhere so do what you can and then you have a great reason to plan a future trip. Also you all should know that I LOVE roller coasters and it does sort of pain me to think about all the ones we will miss but I don't see having the kids sit around too much to wait for my husband and I especially since this is Chelsea's Wish Trip. We may try and sneak in a few but they may also just be on my list for future trips when the kids are older and like them too! Anyway, on to my first attempt at an itinerary.

Tuesday Feb 1st---Travel day. We are coming from the West Coast so this will be a pretty long day. We leave around 6AM and arrive in Orlando around 5PM. How great would it be if we could get some sleep on the plane but I might be kidding myself.:rotfl2:I am not sure we can make it to GKTW in time for orientation so if we can great if not we will all just hang out and probably get a bit to eat. Fall into bed from exhaustion

Wednesday Feb 2nd---Probably we will need to do orientation in the morning and I think the kids would love to do the horse back riding so I see a morning at GKTW for us. Universal Studios in the afternoon. Not sure about eating on this day yet. 1. A Day in the Park with Barney 2. Shrek 4-D 3. Woody Woodpecker Coaster 4. Animal Actors on Location. I might try to plan a tuck in from Mayor Clinton or his Wife at GKTW.

Thursday Feb 3rd--- Seaworld --- Not sure about eating on this day yet. 1. Blue Horizons show 2. Feed the Dolphins 3. Shamus Happy Harbor for some rides for the kids. We hope to be back at GKTW in the afternoon for the Christmas Party that night.

Friday Feb 4th---Disney Magic Kingdom---We are having lunch planned by MAW at CRT (It will be a surprise for the kids). We are also going to BBB for Fuller to get the Knights package and Chelsea to get dolled up too (Merry Christmas from their Auntie). 1. Dumbo 2. The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm 3. See as many characters as we can find...my kids love them and are excited to see Disney ones! 4. Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. We hope to be back to GKTW for the Pirates and Princess Party that night.

Saturday Feb 5th---Universal Islands of Adventure---No eating plans yet. 1. Seuss Landing (the kids love the Cat in The Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2) 2. Flight of Hippogriff 3. Try to find Spiderman for my son 4. Jurrasic Park Discovery Center Dinner for the night is planned at 1900 Park Fare

Sunday Feb 6th---Disney Hollywood Studios---I think we will have lunch at Pizza Planet Arcade because both of the kids are Huge Toy Story Fans (They have Jessie and Woody Costumes they live in some days) 1. Jedi Training Academy (Fuller and Chelsea by default love Star Wars and this is top on his list) 2. Toy Story Mania 3. Beauty and the Beast -Live on Stage 4. Playhouse Disney Live on Stage We will be spending the evening at GKTW with my parents who are joining us at this point of the trip. We are looking forward to the Candyland Party as we play the game at home ALL the time.

Monday Feb 7th---Leave GKTW:sad2::sad2:check in at Animal Kingdom Lodge for rest of Disney visit:cool1::cool1:---Animal Kingdom with Character breakfast at Tusker House (Chelsea really wants to see Daisy Duck so this seemed like a good way to do so) 1. Festival of the Lion King 2. Kilimanjaro Safaris 3. Tricera Top Spin 4. Rafiki's Planet Watch -especially for the petting yard

Tuesday Feb 8th---Magic Kingdom---Early Morning Crystal Palace Reservations (Fuller just loves Tigger and I love the idea of walking main street before the park opens) 1. Pirates of the Carribean and a Dole Whip 2. Peter Pan's Flight 3. Mickey and Minnies house's 4. Wishes

Wednesday Feb 9th---Epcot---Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at O'Hana first! 1. The Seas with Nemo and Friends 2. Turtle Talk with Crush 3. Test Track for Fuller (I don't think Chelsea will be tall enough) 4. Walk around the countries we can get to

Thursday Feb 10th---Disney Hollywood Studios---Eating Lunch at Sci Fi Dine In 1. Toy Story Mania 2. Lights Motors Action Show 3. Voyage of the Little Mermaid 4. Muppet Vision 3-D We may eat Dinner at Boma that night.

Friday Feb 11th---Check out of AKL:sad1::sad1:Visit Downtown Disney for any last minute shopping and lunch at T-Rex Cafe which both of the kids are really excited about then we will drive to visit my aunt and uncle for the rest of the trip.

So that is probably more information than anyone needed but I am glad I got all my notes down in one place . I think I need to find some good CS options for meals we may have in the parks. Anyone have good suggestions for eating at Universal, Islands of Adventure or Seaworld I would be happy to have them.

We took my 3 year old to WDW this summer and her favorite thing was Playhouse Disney live on Stage! We actually saw in twice in one day.

If you have any questions about a 3 year old at Disney, just let me know.

Your plans sounds great...I'm glad you can extend your stay. I wish we could but it's hard enough to get the hubby away from the farm! I hope that everything you plan goes better than planned and I look forward to reading more!

I know there doesn't seem to be a lot of Dis-sers here...yes we've been getting lots of rain too!

Something you should add if you have time while in AK is seeing the Nemo show, its really great! The rest of your days in WDW look good, just take your time, your not going to see everything, we are going for my DD 5 trip and we have yet to get through all of AK! take breaks in the park, our fav thing to do is find a bench, get a snack and people watch!!

Looking forward to hearing more about your plans!

Joining in, love the title!! SO glad that your princess is now healthy! We are also semi west coasters-our flight is just under 5 hours from Az. Ur kiddos may actually sleep on the plane. My 4 DD does each time and half the time my 6 yr old does. Exciting that you get to extend thanks to your Mom and Dad-AKL is our DVC "home". Can't wait to read about the rest of your plans.

Your plans sound great to me. We are also on the West Coast and the last time we went our plane landed just about 5pm and we made it to the 7:45 orientation. You just might make it. As far as rollor coaster...remember...you get front of line pass, so the kids won't be waiting to long. Universal and Island of Adventure is the best when it comes to this. They take you by hand and get you on the next ride. You can even chose where you want to sit. You guys need to enjoy the trip too. Just think what you went through.

Like mommy2mrb said.. The Nemo show was really cute. We ate here http://www.seaworld.com/sitepage.aspx?PageID=553 when we went to Sea World. It was pretty good. They even gave samples of beer. I know City Walk has some yummy restaurants at Universal. Just don't remember where we ate.

Your plans look very realistic.::yes:: I will be back later to be a little more specific and to add my 2 cents! LOL:goodvibes

If you land at MCO at 5, you should be able to make it to the orientation. That starts at 7:30. It is only 30 minutes from the airport to GKTW.

Wednesday Feb 2nd--- I might try to plan a tuck in from Mayor Clinton or his Wife at GKTW.
You HAVE to do this. Juliana got such a kick out of it... and we did too! :lmao:

Thursday Feb 3rd--- Seaworld --- Not sure about eating on this day yet. 1. Blue Horizons show 2. Feed the Dolphins 3. Shamus Happy Harbor for some rides for the kids. We hope to be back at GKTW in the afternoon for the Christmas Party that night.
I would eat breakfast & dinner at GKTW and just grab something quick at SW. I ended up with a chicken grinder with peppers & onions and it was pretty good. It was called Mango Joe's Cafe. It is near the Believe show.

I also used the GAC at SeaWorld to ride the 2 roller coasters while Juliana was looking at the aquarium. I got right on the coasters in no time at all.

Blue horizons was awesome and feeding the dolphins was fun too. The kids got a kick out of Happy HArbor and went on a few rides there.

If you hang out in the Fantasyland area, you should be able to hit the Carousel, IASW, PP, Dumbo, Pooh, Philharmagic, Snow White, and the Tea Cups in about 2-2 1/2 hours with the GAC. Sounds like a fun day! Make sure you arrive at MK early. It does take about 30-45 minutes to get from the parking lot to Main St.

1900PF is such a great time!!! I'm jealous! I wish we got to eat there last week. ;)

Great plan!

Festival of the Lion King 2. Kilimanjaro Safaris 3. Tricera Top Spin 4. Rafiki's Planet Watch -especially for the petting yard
If you have time try to see Nemo. It is awesome! Also there are characters at Camp Minnie Mickey which is right next to the Lion King show.

Wishes
If you are there from Park opening till Wishes you will be able to fit a lot in. See Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. It is a funny show!

Walk around the countries we can get to
Don't forget Soarin'!!!!!

Another good plan. Are you thinking of trying to see Fantasmic!?

Friday Feb 11th---Check out of AKL:sad1::sad1:Visit Downtown Disney for any last minute shopping and lunch at T-Rex Cafe which both of the kids are really excited about then we will drive to visit my aunt and uncle for the rest of the trip.
WAAAAAAA!!!! :sad1::sad1:
